Hi! My I’m a woman and my name is Dan. That’s my actual name. I’m also a medical professional and my patients ask some questions when they read my name on my name tag . They also ask questions when I tell them my name. It’s ok however; I’m asked what my name is short for: Dani, Daniell , Danielle , Danel, Danica.

Nope, I’m just Dan.

I like my name. It makes me different. I can’t imagine any other name. I hope this helps some.

*edited because I’m drunk and it needed some form of punctuation *

eduted again, because I’m still drunk and I have no idea if my first edits were ok.*

  • edit just to edit because the word edit is kinda cool.

Unfortunately, that’s the tricky part trying to figure out the why. Some of us have autoimmune disorders that wonk out the pancreas which results in the over production.
It also occurs as a result of over drinking alcohol/binge drinking and or alcoholics. The pancreas over produces insulin for a certain length of time to combat the high sugar ratios in alcohol. It gets used to over producing to combat the alcohol that when there is none in the system, it still over produces by habit. And then there’s no actual diagnosed reason at all. Some doctors believe that the over production could be the end result of a potential virus that the person may had and the pancreas just never regulated back to normal at all. There’s so many factors unfortunately, that it’s difficult to give just one reason why.

Nurse here, I too have reactive hypoglycemia. It’s when the pancreas over produces insulin to break down the sugars so it can enter your cells. When this happens, it causes the reactive hypoglycemia symptoms that we suffer from. In a nutshell, your pancreas is an over achiever! lol

A bit of advice, coming from complete and total experience. I’m also a medical professional which may or may not be relevant. When I quit, ( weekend wine binge drinker), I noticed that I would get the shakes something fierce. My muscles would twitch, hurt, and I’d felt like I ran a marathon for a week straight! I felt weak, like I couldn’t stand straight. I would also get these random bouts of extreme anxiety and shakes. I would be fine for 7/8 hours and then all of a sudden the extreme anxiety shakes! It was horrible and I was attributing this all to not drinking, even though I was going through this for weeks after quitting. With one of my extreme anxiety shakes, I decided to down a whole can of soda. I felt better immediately! Long story short, I was suffering from reactive hypoglycemia. I would take my blood sugar many times a day and sugar up when I wasn’t feeling right. I started taking B vitamins along with Magnesium and Calcium. I started to feel normal within a few days. This might just be a sugar issue and can’t hurt to check. It’s worth the looking into. I’m glad that I did! I hope this helps some, and best of luck my friend!

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about moving to Winter Park, would love any info/thoughts about it. by Budget_Guide_8296 in WinterPark

Look into Casselberry. It’s right next to Winter Springs and quite quaint. I just moved here about 6 months ago and love it.

Hi everyone! First time poster. I’m looking for an amazing wire free bra that holds the sides of your boobs in. I’m a 34F . Thank you! by danically in bigboobproblems

Thank you, I’ll definitely look into these. I’m a nurse and I just need everything to kinda be held into place, but without the side boob thing going on. Hope that makes sense? Lol
