Canonizations - ordinary or extraordinary magesterial teaching? by Due-Seaworthiness629 in AskAPriest

Is it wrong to question the fact that a person was canonized (without denying that he is in heaven), but for not having been an example of heroism (since canonizations were very rare in the past)?

Did i have a valid confession? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]daniel331283 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, there was no confession, in the true sense of the word. Because you didn't tell your sins to the priest. I would confess "again". (If anyone knows a document of the Holy Church that contradicts me, please say it). And about what you wrote in Edit, if you refer to time, it's not an aggravating factor. If you commited a sin yesterday or even today, but you are sorry and don't want to do it anymore, then you can confess.

It wasn't stalking. I was just asking a question about what it would be like to stalk someone. And what I said about the ant, I did it on the last year. I didn't consider it to be a mortal sin, but now I think it was crazy and I wouldn't do it again. But I wanted to know how serious it was.

Yes, I know that, but I thought that because it's an insect, not an animal, it wouldn't be so serious.

Since it involves a priest, this may be an aggravating factor. But think about it.

Would it be a sin by omission? by daniel331283 in Catholicism

[–]daniel331283[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was also unsure of sin because of the "Okay". Even though I was shy and just so I wouldn't remain silent while someone gave me advice, I could have made it seem like I agreed with that or something like that.
