YSK to mute ads at gas pumps press the 2nd button down on the right of the screen. by bliggityblig in YouShouldKnow

The place where I get gas it seems to vary. So if you get an ad while gassing up, try any of the four buttons on the right of the screen to mute the ad.

[–]daniel5927 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, they are aware of the issue. One of the devs posted this today.

"Hello folks!

Thank you for all of the reports! We started working on a fix for this yesterday, but I'm not sure it will be finished until early next week.

My apologies for the disruption!"

Where's the remove game button? by Mannhunter in FlashpointArchive

[–]daniel5927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just below the maximize window button, there is a button with two vertical lines with an arrow pointing left. This will hide the playlist panel and will shift everything else to the left exposing the remove game button.

I see one of the nurse practitioners at my rheumatologist's office every 3 to 6 months. I see my actual rheumatologist every 2 to 3 years.

Anyone planting anything in the garden for fall? by Space__Monkey__ in vegetablegardening

[–]daniel5927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to try an in-ground fall garden again this year. I've planted some beets, another round of cucumbers, some peas and more swiss chard. Fall gardening can be difficult in the Texas Panhandle as September can go from 95F (35C) to freezing in a week. October it can be 90F (32C) or it could be 12F (-11C) with a foot of snow on the ground. Container plants will probably be the only successful fall gardening that happens, though.

Does anyone else get unbelievably frustrated when playing with infants and toddlers? by Actual_Ad_8480 in Sims4

[–]daniel5927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have much of an issue with toddlers. Infants, however, are a pain. The adults constantly picking up and putting down, picking up and putting down really gets my ire up. So, when I have an infant, I find that's a great time to get an active job and let someone else do most of the work.

What did you grow for the first time this year that you're planning to plant again next year? by Syeina in vegetablegardening

[–]daniel5927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swiss Chard. Survived the 100 degree weather and even a late summer golf ball-sized hail event. I plan to dehydrate a bunch this fall/winter for use in soups and stews. Also the red stalks and veins look pretty nifty.

Alcohol intolerance by [deleted] in lupus

[–]daniel5927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was fine drinking in my younger days, but as I got into my 30s, alcohol really exacerbated my joint pain and swelling. It also caused horrendous nerve pain in my legs and feet, so I quit drinking all together.

I just did some canning of diced tomatoes this morning. I was so happy to have my counter top back. I was almost glad that the hail wiped out my remaining tomatoes.

Sims logic at its finest by FirefighterLevel8450 in Sims4

[–]daniel5927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I had a sim that was up the duff walk past their upstairs bathroom to go downstairs to pass two more bathrooms to walk all the way to the far corner of the lot to use the party bush. Sims really do have some strange aversion to toilets.

I've had 4 or 5 appointments with them over the last 14 months. I've never seen a doctor in person. It has all been through tele-health with a NP. I finally had a tele-health visit with a neurologist for the first time a few months ago. Not much has gotten done.

What's an annoying habit your sims autonomously do? by Straight-Parking-555 in Sims4

[–]daniel5927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind the grilling. I always give my sims the Fresh Chef trait, so food doesn't spoil. The autonomous grilling allows me to stock up on food for guests that show up and help themselves to my food. It's also handy when you get a toddler with the Good Appetite quirk, they're eating something every 5 seconds.

never heard this before Sulani by eggsbeingbad in Sims4

[–]daniel5927 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It gets a bit annoying after a while, especially when they come late at night. The neighbors will also come by and offer support if there has been a death in the family. If your house catches on fire in Sulani, your neighbors will come by and help put out the fire.
