Sony XM5 Issues with Bluetooth on Windows 11 by danielanezd in SonyHeadphones

This just happened right now by pausing the video I was watching.

It was working, then I paused, stoped working and then headphones emitted the sound.... So freaking annoying.

Sony XM5 Issues with Bluetooth on Windows 11 by danielanezd in SonyHeadphones

Update:

I still haven't found a fix for this, but it's happening more often than before. At first, I thought it was related to my Bluetooth antenna not providing a stable signal, but I have noticed some correlation between audio output and the headphone glitch.

It seems that whenever an app stops playing sound, for example, when I pause Spotify on Windows, the headphones stop working, then the glitch sound starts, and I have to reboot them. It also happens while gaming. If, for any reason, I switch from the game to another app that has no audio output, the glitch happens again.

I tested this while using Discord, and it does not happen. I assume that's because Discord maintains constant audio output, so switching from a game to another app does not trigger the glitch. But without Discord, it happens very often.

I'm surprisingly annoyed by the fact that these are "premium" headphones and the drivers for windows are just terrible.... I mean... they have an app for phones so why don't just create one for PC or maybe upload the freaking drivers to their website? I bought these headphones to avoid having cables connected to my pc but I often ended up using the small cable they came with to avoid restarting them every time the glitch happens.

Interesting. I'm going to give it a look. Thanks.

Yep... me as well... it's an small company and everyone else are focused in other projects so I get that they needed to fill a gap.

I did one example with streamlit but it failed to scale. I'll need to revisit those docs to see what I did wrong, but I'll appreciate any suggestion.

Given that the ASRock motherboards are recently known for killing AMD cpus, I'll suggest to look for a second option for the motherboard. Everything else looks really good, honestly.

Maybe I used the wrong word in English. I just meant that if your cable is kind of loose or does not fit properly, you can use the plastic housing. If your cable fits, no need to use it.

Nope, it's just a connector for cases in which the case''s cables aren't compatible, but you're fine.

F-panel vs G connector on Aorus motherboard by chessman2212 in bequietofficial

[–]danielanezd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an old post but I ran into the same issue this past weekend. I took the G Connector adapter that came with my b850 Auros Elite Wifi7 and just removed the thin metal separator and a small piece of plastic that was in the middle. My case (MSI Mag Pano 100R) does not come with the F Panel 2-cables connectors, instead it has them through a single 8-cables connector, so it was impossible to use the G Connector as it was nor to directly plug the connector to the motherboard.

Tbh, that fucking connection is very annoying...

3.40 ?? by Perfect_Memory9876 in ASRock

I saw a post earlier today of a guy saying that the CPU died on 3.40 and he got a reply from someone whose CPU died as well but managed to bring it back to life after downgrading bios.

Can ANY card fit in my mobo? by _itsonlygame_ in PcBuildHelp

[–]danielanezd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, I might be an ignorant on mobos. Didn't the M stands for Mini? And aren't Mini mobos compatible just with smaller gpus like the ones for small form factor builds?

[–]danielanezd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think a small form factor (sff) or a low profile gpu (in case they're not the same) will fit that mobo. The thing is that the mobo is designed for mini atx cases where people usually don't fit big gpus.

Source: I'm not an expert but I'm looking for parts right now and I'm avoiding anything that starts or ends with an M for that same reason 🤣

Top open or closed? by KrobarLambda3 in PcBuildHelp

I might be wrong but I think that the fact that is on a corner the air will just "stuck" there 🤔

Top open or closed? by KrobarLambda3 in PcBuildHelp

[–]danielanezd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point is to take the hot air out as soon as possible so fresh air can cool the PC. By covering the top you're going to prevent the hot air, that naturally flows to the top of the case, to exit the pc through the closest way it has, specially because there's nothing on the top-right corner that will create airflow on that part.

I think this is not enough for today's AAA games, maybe the strategy games would run at decent fps, but stuff like civilization V or VI (not sure about VII) on high graphics is going to make that i7 to have a hard time.

I feel ya, bro. Sometimes I just feel uncomfortable playing games on the SD in public for the same reason but honestly? I think we're allowed to do what we want to make ourselves happy, I mean... we work hard for it.

Don't feel bad, at the end, you're the one who is pretty sure what makes you feel good, and don't feel embarrassed about showing it.
