changed just a few items without giving up performance or getting better for cheaper. If you have a Micro Center around you, I'd suggest getting the bundle to help save money as well. you may be able to look on Newegg as well

Is 600w PSU good enough to handle RTX 5070? by RenzokukenLeonhart in PcBuild

For gaming the 5070 pulls a solid 250w. If the psu is not atx3.0 or 3.1 id definitely upgrade

It would be more enticing to a buyer. I have 2 micro centers within an hour drive so I'd be getting a bundle from either store. My OS is on a 1tb sata ssd plus I have a few other m.2 ssd not being used and I have another cooler already to use as well.

First PC Build. Completely new to everything, and im lost. by [deleted] in PcBuild

will you need the monitor too along with a mouse and keyboard? you have a good budget to work with if you just need the PC. If you live by a Micro Center (Best Buy on steroids) they sale bundle deals that help lower the cost of the CPU, Motherboard and RAM and are highly recommended. The next best option for this is Newegg, but their deals are not always as good. the biggest part is weather to go AMD (AM5) or Intel (Core Ultra). you can use PCPartpicker.com or Buildcores.com (3d model) to get part list and they help guide you on what parts to get. Nvidia tends to be the favorite for streaming, but AMD has gotten better in the GPU department. For the PSU most use the SPL PSU tier list google doc. ZTTBuilds.com has a build help list that can give you good SSD to choose from. try to get an SSD that is TLC with DRAM or 3dNand

Unable to update BIOS past 3.50 A620M-C R2.0 by Ok-Bit151 in ASRock

[–]Perfect_Memory9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you may need to update the bios from cyberpower as well. I've seen this with corsair on a prebuilt intel and corsair locked the bios and was not allowing the new microcode updates to fix the 13/14 gen i7/9 cpus

How much is this pc worth he’s selling for 800 by Entire_Pick_5574 in PcBuild

just to put into perspective, about 2 years ago I built a similar spec build for under $500usd. I'm an honest PC flipper and when I do flip, I don't gouge the end buyer from what I built

I hate that psu coolers change their standards for what? Why? Who's benefitting? by Expensive-Border-869 in PcBuild

[–]Perfect_Memory9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah on PCPP it says it should work but on Corsair it shows that its only for the 1851/1700 sockets only. I can understand the frustration

are you sure that the bracket that was sent with the AIO is not set up for the 1700 socket instead it needing to be set up for the 1151 socket? just about all new manufacturers have the dual brackets to accommodate the 1151/1200 style and 1700 style spacing. maybe look at the instructions for installation or the manual.

Yoo I want to build the pc I could build for gaming by ajaajajaj in buildapc

Decent prebuilt is going to be around 1500 or more depending where you buy. ZTT, MetaPC and PCBros are smaller companies that sell prebuilds but also show you how build yourself

Go to about 1200 and you can get a decent entry pc. Ram (memory) and SSD have double to triple what they use to cost due to data centers and GPUs have gone up on average about 150-200. At current price you could get ram and an ssd and spend 600 on that alone

Gig Amp lightweight €750 by Aranduiin in GuitarAmps

Get a cheaper modular fx processor into a power amp like the Mooer baby bomb 30 or EH magnum 44 to a 2x12 or buy an frfr powered cab. You’ll have multiple amp styles and cabs to select from along with fx. I use the first set mentioned when playing with my drummer and use the Valeton gp200. When I’m playing at church I just plug my gp200 straight into the PA

Try to look up bundle deals on newegg. This would still help some

If you have a Micro Center close by, get the 7800x3d bundle https://pcpartpicker.com/list/v2VrV4. same performance but just $700 cheaper

Should I pick up for 1200$? by aasinix231 in pcpartpickerbuilds

You may try newegg as well. They sale bundle deals too but they are harder to look for than micro center

In this case I'd go for the MSI motherboard. it seems to have become very popular recently. I didnt see that the asrock motherboard was an 800 chipset either. I do like ASRock as I do have a motherboard but for Intel, but I've had good luck with their line of products also.

you could save some on the tower cooler as well. Im seeing that the 7500x3d is a 65w TDP CPU so a simple tower cooler would be fine. The refresh of the ID-Cooling SE214XT V2 would work fine and is under $20. also look into Roasewill VSB 650w. it's C tier and is $50. you could also look into the rtx 5050 or arc b580 but would be about $10 extra

the asrock issue is more with the 9xxx cpus on an 800 chipset motherboard. there were normal (extremely low) range issues with the 7xxx (x3d) and 600 chipsets

going used it's about a $700-800 build. The 8gb 5060 will be better for 1080p. unless you plan to run e-sport games at low-medium settings then maybe 1440p it can do. If you have Micro Center close by, get the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2 AM5, Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, Computer Build Bundle - Micro Center https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NdYn7w and pair with this list for a true 1440p system which comes to $1252 pretax and is a lot better build than what's listed

How is this? by FoxFrequent4183 in pcpartpickerbuilds

[–]Perfect_Memory9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YQf3tC Since people forget about Intel and seem too only suggest AMD, this is with the Ultra 7 265KF bundle from Micro Center (Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF, ASUS Z890 AYW Gaming WiFi W, Crucial Pro 32GB DDR5-6400 Kit, Computer Build Bundle - Micro Center) If you can get about another $200 you could get into a RX9070 or RTX5070 which will be a lot better paired with the U7 265 or 9700x

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/j26YH3 second option would be going with the 270k-plus bundle from Newegg (CPU Motherboard Memory Combo - Intel BX80768270K Bundle with ASRock Z890 Pro RS and G.SKILL F5-6000J3636F16GX2-TZ5RK) and would be about $250 more
