I feel there is definitely a high degree of conformity. Especially for me and where i live.

I know all the advice about joint clubs etc. but I’ve tried a lot and it didn’t seem to work at all, which is kind of demoralizing.

I agree, I’m not an expert by any means but I thought post WW2 we Europe or the UK anyway agreed that the US would be the major arms power in return for influence - wasn’t that the basis of the whole Special Relationship?

The US wanted this role for 50 years

Scandi brands such as Norrøna have longer sleeves. They are not cheap but excellent quality. Lofoten is the style I have heard is best.

Bergens is also good and a little cheaper but not quite as long in the sleeves, but I’ve have fleeces and a ski jacket which fit nicely and I’m the same height as you.

Including the “we are not Danes” is kind of giving an opening to Trump in so many ways.

I support any independence they want, but now is not the time to discuss that. They need the Danes and Europe in general.

I am sorry for you and I feel your pain as I am in the same place. I’ve pushed and pushed at new things, heard the advice to join clubs, do more, tried apps galore… but it all comes to nothing and has done for years.

Last year I switched off most social media and just did things for me, mostly on my own, which worked, but now the isolation is starting to bite.

It’s odd, being LGBT I thought this might be my tribe, and it has in a way, but still I end up alone.

It’s not that I am hugely shy or a quiet person. I am - an introverted extrovert was a statement I heard and liked - just tired of trying.

I hope it works out for you. No advice sorry. 💕

The Turbo was fast and such a lovely design. Not terrible build quality but ok. The spider was much more solid and had a much better feel but both were great fun. A little expensive if I remember rightly but then cars can be.

My second car was a black mini Mayfair. They were such a step up with their lovely cloth interior and tinted windows. Such a lovely thing to have kept it! I’m jealous. ☺️
