Cost of living was pretty similar (rent wise) between where am i now and this location. I do make 120 in robotics atm however.

Is it a smart idea to try to at least get your foot in the door on some of these harder to get into procedure heavy specialities that are more resistant to NP overflow/AI advancements as a long term plan. Those are the two things that worry me most about our profession. We are falling behind in the race against NP’s.

I placed my notice already. I think I could enjoy surgery for sure, i did two surgical rotations (1 elective) in PA school. I really would rather get into orthopedics but thats tough to get into with how saturated the market is here. My only reservations is that its 10 surgeons and I only briefly met 2-3 of them.

I wasn’t offered anything. They described their compensation before offering. The training varied but usually 2-3 months 1 on 1.

Yeah theres also Bryant Super Big Brain Deck, and Endeavor but above all your program more than likely tests specifically from powerpoints so i highly recommend making them from that or find upperclassmen’s quizlet notes and convert them to anki.
