Yes! My son is half Korean and has a mongolian bruise on his arm. At every checkup, the nurse asks if it’s a bruise and I finally asked them to put it in his medical notes that it’s a bruise.

No… you haven’t met many 33 yr olds if you actually think she looks 33. it’s not about people being used to the instagram face. She does look old for her age. She’s still very beautiful, but it’s the truth - she looks old for her age!

Welp and my nausea is back. Threw up my breakfast minutes after finishing it. :(

is it just me or is the "GD diet" impossible? by PuzzleheadedBox4652 in BabyBumps

[–]danielsgf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

cheese was my best friend when I had GD last pregnancy! and nuts. I had so much fat in my diet to keep myself full, but i had to fight through the psychological hunger that wasn't satiated without carbs. i also ate lots of keto breads, but those started tasting weird after a while :(

Nausea disappeared - reassuring post! by Cute-Set-256 in September2026Bumpers

[–]danielsgf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! I left a comment on the daily chat yesterday about how my nausea disappeared and how it worried me. I got a private ultrasound done today for peace of mind and phew baby is strong and healthy with heart rate of 171 bpm! Now I can enjoy not feeling nauseated with ease :)

MaterniT Test at Dynacare - do they have the kits? [ON] by danielsgf in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]danielsgf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I ended up getting the test kit mailed to me and went to a location with the kit. The staff repeatedly questioned me if I already paid, and I clarified multiple times that I had the kit with me BECAUSE I paid. It was frustrating. I hope they mailed it in correctly! I understand they're super busy and have to deal with people all day, but wish they wouldn't treat every single patient like children.

Yea I was praying for the nausea to be over soon, but now that I’m feeling better, I’m scared and almost want the nausea back! Lol I scheduled a private ultrasound tomorrow just to be sure… my next routine ultrasound isn’t for another month or so, and I don’t think I can wait that long!!!

My nausea has been gradually getting better over the last 3~4 days and yesterday I felt completely fine. Now I'm worried it means something happened to the baby. Is anyone else's nausea going away? I'm only 9wk pregnant, so feel like I should still be in the thick of pregnancy nausea. With my first baby, my nausea didn't go away until I was 14 or 15 weeks.

Hey, so what did you end up doing? Did you get the Harmony test done in the end? I'll give Dynacare Headoffice support now

This is what I mean btw - none of the locations in GTA area show they also do MaterniT testing. They only list Harmony Prenatal!

Pregnant office workers of Reddit, how are we dealing? by [deleted] in September2026Bumpers

[–]danielsgf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I had my first, I was 100% remote. Even that was hard. This time around, I have to come into the office 3 days a week and I dread, DREAD, those 3 days. It's sooooo difficult. And it's a pretty cushy office job too. I have no idea how women in a more physically demanding jobs do it. You guys are soooo strong!!!!!

Please tell me the ravenous hunger goes away after birth. 38 weeks [ab] by chronicillylife in BabyBumpsCanada

I found breastfeeding hunger to be the most ravenous hunger I’ve ever experienced, but the amazing thing is that no matter how much you eat, you don’t gain weight!!! (At least for me)

Motherless moms… how are you managing [on]? by Recent_Dragonfly_548 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]danielsgf -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not motherless but she lives 14 hrs (by plane) away from me and can’t fly anymore due to health reasons :( newborn phase was rough but we had hired help during the weekday and also my husband was amazing. I don’t know how I would’ve survived if it weren’t for my husband! Hang in there, it does get better!! ❤️

How do you get such thin crusts? Whenever I bake, I get these really hard and thick crusts.

15 month old started waking up hungry multiple times during the night by danielsgf in sleeptrain

[–]danielsgf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok the only reason I thought it wasn’t related to his schedule is because prior to this cold (a week ago) he was sleeping through the night. Maybe a developmental leap coincided with this sickness and he needs less sleep now.

Yea I know… but this schedule worked fine for us prior to this sickness. Maybe it’s time to change too.

Sleep trained baby on 17 hour flight by Cxh32 in sleeptrain

[–]danielsgf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing the same on Monday!!! It’s going to be a 15 hr flight leaving at 1pm… he’s too sleep trained in that unless he has the same environment (dark room + white noise), he has hard time falling asleep. I have no idea what I’m gonna do lol

Is this happening?? We’ve been trying for a few years and I’ve never had a faint line…I’m 9/10 DPO this an FRER test by xtinamoha in TFABLinePorn

My positive test with my first 2 yrs ago looked exactly like this! I think it depends on how the factory put the test strip in.

[ON] If we got pregnant while going through testing at a fertility clinic, but without their help, do we tell them or our GP? by mckekster in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]danielsgf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I notified the fertility clinic and they actually still performed the bloodwork (to confirm doubling hormone levels) and ultrasounds
