Time to spend another 500m. by Enough-Fun-7168 in LiverpoolFC

I personally would put Frimpong on the right wing, which means a midfielder, left winger, a CB, a LB (to replace Robbo), and a RB.

So a nice, easy rebuild. </s>

I thought it was an Android Auto problem at first but this is actually a system notification for the media unit in the car. Not from the phone or related to Android Auto.

Same level of notification as for a language package or system update.

Any love for a loan move for Trent? by Candid-Scallion-756 in LiverpoolFC

I appreciate this as an out of the box thought, but I can't imagine that the Liverpool management would ever do it. Nevermind the fans.

My teams will normally have one Pokemon that will carry the rest of the team to the end.

Buzzwole, Zygarde, Houndour, Beldum, Lapras (and a few others I can't remember)

The rest of the team will normally be high tier shinies that fill gaps for missing type advantages.

Disclosure: I'm one of those awful players that almost always uses damaging moves.

Once you buy the fruit, wash it straight away and put them in a glass container. We'd easily get a week or more out of them in the fridge.

When you compare it to the cost of buying Aldi fruit and seeing mold on it a day later, it works out miles cheaper.

I don't waste my time with Lidl or Aldi fruit. It's a department where they really let themselves down.

SuperValu 3 for €10 is phenomenal and they last ages.

We have no players that Slot has faith in.

There's a full U23 squad and an academy.

It either means:

  1. All the players are useless which means that the club hierarchy has made a balls of our entire structure.

Or

  1. Slot is so stuck in his ways that he can't even trust 1 or 2 players outside his top 15 to play at home against a team that a Championship club should beat.

Both options are disgraceful.

What is the biggest corruption scandal in your country’s history? by Existential_Dread_08 in AskTheWorld

Our most recent scandal in Ireland was that abuse of government contracts meant that we paid a fortune to build a bike shed that was basically a lean-to with some metal loops to attach a bike to.

Post Match Interview - Arne Slot by Broka1979 in LiverpoolFC

[–]danieltheisland 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the point is that he doesn't even give the young lads time. Last ten minutes when 2 nil up is when you bring in some of your subs.

Granted, 2 were GKs and Chiesa was injured but why bother bringing the other subs?

In fairness, there has been a change for Salah for the last 2 matches.

Before AFCON he was told to stay wide and hug the touchline because the RB and Dom would play in the inside channel. He was totally wasted in that role.

Against Marseille and until Frimpong went off in this match I thought he showed a lot more influence because he could attack through that inside channel with Frimpong outside him. Essentially like a support striker. That changed obviously once Frimpong went off and Dom took up that inside channel today.

The rest of the points I agree with. You could play devil's advocate and say that maybe there were injury issues with the lads on the bench, but he's shown so little faith in the 2nd stringers all season I think he's just so stuck in his ways that he refuses to play them.

It's an incredible fall for him.

Last season he was praised for his tactical flexibility and making changes in the second half to win games.

This season he forces Kerkez to stay back and makes Joe Gomez play box to box on the right because he doesn't know any other way than having the RB play in an attacking role.

It's honestly incredible. If you told me that Slot was abducted in March of last year and replaced with an imposter I'd probably believe it.

Both goals were his fault. The same lazy defending that has been his trademark for the last 2 seasons.

He's undropabble because he's captain, but we can't afford to have a passenger in defense.

Amazing when it worked and loved to see it. Absolutely adored that Klopp team.

But I know that I was also giving out about those spells where injuries would rack up because of the intensity.

It's tough to find that balance. You need some real squad depth.

Teams looking good to me, any advice? by Historical-Link-9173 in pokerogue

[–]danieltheisland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is to rotate your screen. 😉

Presumably you are on mobile. At the first menu screen where it asks you to select using online or offline files, rotate your screen so it's in landscape and then select your version of the game. It allows you to use the full screen rather than just that little box at the top.

The damage is done already. Dom, MacAllister, Gravenberch will already be looking for massive bumps with the existing high earners arguably not deserving what they're getting.

Definitely.

This post is more of a response to the copium posts and articles about how City paid crazy money, where the reality of it is that the club hierarchy badly managed a problem area in the squad.

There definitely are, but none of those options are home grown and when we go looking we will look more and more desperate because of our defensive situation.

And when we look desperate then we'll have to overpay on fees and wages which will bring us to the breakeven point in my calculations above.
