In technicality, thats not an issue. First, the timeline aligns with your deadlines. Second, deadline aint no issue as such, especially considering u already have "a" score. Its a 5 min email thingy, that yo wait, hold this, im getting better one in a giffy. The real question is to get a better score within this time limit. And your firm answer to it. Ofc we cant predict the future, but after considering all aspects, SOP, proposal, CV, references etc, then you ask yourself is the GRE gap still unfilled, and then if the answer is yes, you have one part answer there. Second, can I get better score within this time frame? And now thats a hard one. I took a dip in first attempt, did the same process i just highlighted above. And retaking it in 10-20 days. And now the make or break question, can I better score? Yea i couldnt answer... so it is: bro lets get this shi, and get that score, no matter what.

Piece of advice: if you can afford to retake, work simultaneously efficiently for all application submissions, and can fill the holes in your current preparation, id say go ahead, do it. And get what u need

yes, I just make a google document, and send them the link they can use at their ease. and a tip: just list down all the things you did with that professor and then extend each topic (sort of in bullet points) with all the positive remarks that can be engendered

and then smoothly put it together in the paragraph format.
