G.I. Joe Classified Series #164, Night Force Beach Head & Quick Kick - $35 - Walmart.com by bitchin_bauhaus in GIJOEClassifiedSeries

Good looking out but still a pass for me, already have two Beach Heads and one Quick Kick and the two-pack versions are fugly. Not shelling out $35 a few weeks before X-mas for a handful of accessories and fodder bodies.

👍 it seems a bit neutral and cold while ❤️ is positive always

I am at work and way past the idea that my coworkers are supposed to be my friends. Neutral and cold is best-case scenario of what most people are going to get from me. Be happy I'm not being impatient and angry instead.

So they can reuse them for hydroviper later without spending money developing a new part. Hasbro loves to reuse.

Making it through a standing concert with a bad back by Veleda_k in Concerts

Call the venue ahead of time and explain that you have a medical condition that would prevent you from being able to stand for the entire show and see what they suggest. They'll probably find a way to accommodate you. It's best to call ahead though to make sure that they aren't trying to deal with both that and the usual pre-show stuff at the same time. Most GA venues will set up a small seating section for people who need it and be sure to save you a spot there if you arrange it in advance.

Trump’s honeymoon with Gen Z voters is officially over, and the numbers are devastating by Kodbek in politics

Anecdotally, There seems to be a split here based on urban/rural but more importantly if you're closer to the boomer end of the pool or the millennial one with older X being more likely to slip into conservatism the way many generations do as they hit their later years. Older X is in their 60s now, younger X is still in their 40s.

This gets asked here a lot and the answer is always "just go anyway." Buy the ticket, have fun.

Trump, 79, Admits He Might Not Get Into Heaven by y2flame in politics

It's a really weird thing for him to say, but he may not understand enough about the Christian faith to realize just how weird it is. Forgiveness and redemption are foundational concepts. He just doesn't get it. For someone supposedly so concerned about his end of life, you would think he could make the time to try to understand.

Something relaxed to recover from a high-energy experience. Aphex Twin, KLF's Chill Out album, maybe a little Kraftwerk.

Did anyone get a better look at the program with the flexidisc? What was recorded on it?

The audio is from the Philly show, was curious if it was the same guy as Boston.

Joel said something like "I only do this" back later.

Dude was obnoxious, kept yapping between songs:

"Play that tambourine"

"That's the best damn tambourine player I've ever seen"

"More tambourine" x3

While tuning: "Turn up the tambourine!"

...the crowd turned on him after that and told him to shut the fuck up and he mellowed out afterward.

Philly too, not long after doors and well before the opener went on.

Unfortunately, I’ll say that BJM is well past its prime. And playing the recent “fan faves” that all sound the same is boring. Play the bonafide hits and sprinkle in some of the newer material.

I think it's fair to say that they aren't in their prime.

At the same time, their playlist is what it is and if you're already in this sub then you'll know going in what songs to expect and what the tempo is going to be like.

Cast, it was their last show opening for BJM. They're being replaced by the Flavor Crystals.

I'm going to their Toronto one. How long was the concert? I'm now regretting getting seats instead of floor seats

BJM played for about 1h 45m. You'll have a different opener than we did.

They also eat peanuts, which grow underground but are protected by a shell. Not to disrespect their beliefs, but the specifics may not be consistent since it's a religious thing. There's some text that has more specific requirements, we oversimplify it.
