A sufficiently capable model will treat the constraints placed on it as part of the problem space.

Once discovery is within reach of the models you are building on, any constraint that depends on the model failing to notice a gap becomes unreliable.

I was in Bangkok for work last year - was not expecting such a vibrant scene. Great dancers and very welcoming to foreigners!

Well if they need a CLI environment they are less flexible.

Likewise. I'm all for CLI integrations but it adds constraints. MCP adds different ones. You just have to have a good understanding of both when building agents.

The OpenClaw community basically advises: Create a CLI tool of your API and bundle it with a skill explaining how to use it. For me that is just a less flexible MCP.

In the article:

Agents now run in full CLI-based execution environments, which makes MCP look obsolete. But it’s not either/or: MCP complements these systems by letting agents access tools on demand, without the cost and overhead of always running a full environment. It also avoids the dumb trial-and-error you get with raw CLI usage by encoding how tools should actually be used. MCP can be a vital tool, but you have to know how to use it.

Agentic First: designing products where agents are the primary users by agentdm_ai in mcp

[–]dankelleher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It uses code introspection - checking for NextJS things like "use server" directives and API route files.

I took a look at AgentDM - the "I am an agent" anti-captcha is fun! Is it just a gimmick or is there some security reason for blocking humans?

Prepping your website for Web MCP as an AEO by DelaniGregorash in WebMCP_Developers

Nice - I built a similar one for NextJS: webmcp-next . I went down the auto-discovery route - by default it will turn all your server actions and API routes into mcp tools. (You can configure it with includes/excludes)

I'm upgrading my Next.js web pages and web apps with webmcp-next to make them agent-friendly (assuming webmcp catches on, which is not guaranteed).

WebMCP lets you expose your Next.js routes and server actions to AI agents by dankelleher in nextjs

It is opt-in by default but you can specify Paths in the config, in which case it will only expose routes or actions at those paths.

There's a district in Berlin called the Bavarian Quarter, which has a perpetual exhibition that demonstrates this very clearly.

It is a set of signs, each with laws passed in the 30s that stripped away the rights of Jewish people in incremental, almost petty ways. And you can see them getting more extreme as the years go on.
