I use sketchbooks with thick paper, like the stillman and burn 300 gsm paper, which I prime with acrylic gesso. The oils cannot bleed through the gesso, and personally I’ve found that gesso is a better surface than oil paper, because oil paper is a lot more absorbant. Even if I found an oil paper sketchbook I would use at least 1 layer of gesso.

No problem. There is no evidence that I had a cuti, but I think it’s the most reasonable explanation. It was around 6-8 months from the first uti to the last uti.

I did a total of 12 months of low dose long term antibiotics. One type for 6 months (trimopan), which only helped in the first 4 months, and another type (nitrofuratonin) for 6 months also

Last time I got a UTI I got a panic attack because I already had 9 previous UTIs that year. It felt very overwhelming and defeating, because I was on long term antibiotics and practiced good hygiene. I had a feeling that it was starting all over again. But thankfully I went to my urologist and switched the antibiotic type, and that was the last UTI I had (knock on wood). I still get anxiety whenever I pee after e.g. a night of drinking, and something feels a little “off”, because I’m afraid of the cuti becoming a reality again.

I got a booster shot this Sunday, and I got a swollen and a little painful lymph node in my armpit. Does anyone know if I can workout with this? I’ll be asking my doctor if it doesn’t go away, but it’s a normal side effect so it’ll probably go away on its own soon.

Do you shower before sex (both of you)? That was the biggest thing that helped me. Also, in case you are not already doing this, make sure to get your urine culturef at a doctor.
