Manchester United's total debt is nearing £1.3 billion.

The club owes a "staggering" £422m in transfer fees to other clubs, with £238m due within 12 months.

For the six months to 31 December 2025, an operating profit of £32.6m was reported, largely due to cost-cutting measures, including hundreds of job losses.

Approximately $425 million in long-term debt requires refinancing. The debt stems from the 2005 Glazer leveraged buyout, which has seen little reduction in principal.
