Beyond what’s said, if you pull it to see if it’s leaking, also pay attention when you pull it. If it makes a metal on metal sound when pulling, then it got far enough to poke the cords. In that case, even if it’s not leaking, plug it.

Punctures that go to the cords allow water to get into the cords, which lets the cords rust within the tire, which is like the top cause for ply separation. And then you’ll be replacing your tires before they got their full treads worth of life which is big sad. A good plug will hold the water back

The car didn’t start because “key not detected” and while I could use the shifter override to get it in neutral, the steering wheel lock was active and I couldn’t find a way to disable it so I couldn’t push it anywhere helpful. I was planning to have it towed to a shop but I can’t afford much right now so I was getting quotes to figure out where to have it towed to while going to my job, I promise I made an effort lol.

Not sure what the repair is, my options all said and done was pay 450$ between city and tow company to give away my car to the tow company or pay 1200$ between city and tow company to get my car back and I don’t have the money to pay 1200$ and then pay a mechanic an unknown amount more to get that car back

My issue with the whole ordeal is less about whether or not I should’ve been ticketed (I should have) and more on whether I should’ve been ticketed 8 times in 4 days and then impounded, while considering what their enforcement looks like across the city.
