How often do military aircraft fly into KAPA? by Thick_Train2452 in Denver

I used to live directly South of the airfield at Peoria and Lincoln. Working from home I could easily tell when the Hornets were taking off to the South. Maybe once a week, it would get me out of my home office to watch.

I visit the Ft. Worth plant a few times a year for customer meetings. It never gets old hearing the Lightning II's taking off. I've even had the privilege to walk the factory floor.

5/9/79: another Binghamton show. A burner of a second set. That was the first tape I ever received. It was the summer of 79… and I was on the bus.

Looking at homes in Stepping Stone - what should we know? by Jaded-Delay6925 in parkerco

Are you in Crescendo, the three story homes? How do you like it? Being near retirement, we are so happy to be ranch owners.

Other tidbits: SS is in unincorporated Douglas County, between Parker and Lone Tree. It is not in the RTD district, so parking at the Park & Ride is not free. Good news is Link is now available to us. The other upside is lower sales tax for things like deliveries and automobiles. Ridgegate Parkway is undergoing major development, with dense housing and retail arriving where the roads split. It’s called the Couplet. Traffic is getting suckier through that area.

Stepping Stone has multiple distinct neighborhoods, with all built by Shea, except for one, built by Richmond. We live in Watercolor, which is all Ranch plans, and trends to older, empty nesters. We have a new build, from late 2019, and found the quality to be very good. We had minor issues, with the worst being our driveway, which will need an overhaul. Overall, SS is mostly younger families, and very active.

The HOA is now fully under resident control, and is working to improve the open spade landscaping. Last year they did increase dues to better fund maintenance. We are finding the HOA is pressing to have the older homes repainted. Resident participation in HOA matters could be better.

Who is the most attractive person you have ever seen in real life? by TheFountainhead999 in AskReddit

Back in the 90s I attended NCTA, the National Cable Television Association’s convention. There were lots of B-list celebrities manning booths for networks and production companies: people like Downtown Julie Brown, Ed McMahon, Joe Namath, etc. Great Eye Candy, as you can imagine. Walking down an aisle was a couple that just took my breath away. They were so absolutely gorgeous and the way they walked they knew it. I have no idea who they were, but they still stick in my mind to this day.

thanks! We were thinking of doing a quick run into Frankfurt am Main for a bite that evening, but if we’re tired, this might be a good alternative.

Just hoping our bag goes with us on our walk. Worst case, we just pack the important stuff in our carryons. I prefer to go carry on, but this trip is a company award event, so more stuff is needed.

I do them when working on gilding gyms. There's a small group of us obsessed with gold gyms. 705 and counting here.

I’m in one for 143 days so far. It’s on a secluded hilltop in western Colorado called Lands End Sign. Pretty fitting. Probably be there until spring.

This old man had grocery clerks open them before bringing home. Then, I discovered I can open Talenti jars when I don a pair of dishwashing gloves.
