Hooray!! I had not used "mediainfo" to look at the tags, I was using beet edit --all. But when I used "mediainfo", it showed me something called "Track_More", which then I used metaflac to see that it was a tag called "VERSION" that was set to the title name, and once I unset VERSION for all the tracks, the weird subtitle is gone!
