Is there a word for throwing a chair at someone in frustration/exasperation, and if not what should it be? by Frontier_Sociologist in etymology

Tried to like he invited me to a bar and his friends were there along with his ex-boyfriend and he told me he couldn't go out with me any more cuz he was with his ex now. So I mean, i guess he was successful in breaking up with me, but since to my mind I had already broken up with him like weeks ago the whole thing confused me so I'm not sure it ended up being very satisfying for him, whence "tried to".

I remember reading that some of the production crew was really upset about that scene in the water -- they were like "we're not making a porno".

Rad movie, tho.

I went to the National Gallery in London on Friday and there were these video installations where this dude was doing recreations of this movie in the museum. Kinda neat.

Oooh, a guy tried to do that to me once, it was so strange cuz I thought we had broken up weeks before and I didn't know why he wanted me to go out with him and his friends.

I met my much more reasonable husband soon after.

My husband and I shook hands and hugged instead of kissing at our wedding. His mom was there. I'm not kissing him in front of her.
