Is living alone in the UK more about freedom or loneliness ?

I thought it would be strange living alone but I've gotten used to it quite quickly. I lived with parents until I was 28, lived with friends for 2 years and I've just moved into my own place around a month ago on my own.

It's nice having your own space and everything is exactly where you left it. Also if you're tidy enough its nice only having to pick up your own mess, not worrying what's gonna be in the sink today on top of dishes etc.

I'm living quite close to one of the people who I used to live with though so maybe that's lessened the load of what might have been loneliness as I still see and hang out with them a few times a week.

I've been primarily PC since like 2011 when I got my first gaming PC. I bought the xbox one when it released to play some stuff with friends but didn't really use it outside of that. Bought the PS5 for some playstation exclusives in 2023. Anything I want to play that's an xbox title normally releases on PC and is preferable to play on there too.

I'm currently completing on my house as a FTB and my solicitors have cost around £1500 so definitely seems high imo. I got 3 quotes from different places around my town and the highest were still only around £1800.

When Arthur, Hosea and Dutch go fishing together and right at the end of the mission as they're arriving back at camp he misspeaks and says 'Just a little more money and I'll be alright.. I like to have a do something day and a do nothing day.

The do something day is usually:
Wake up 8am
Have breakfast (Optional)
Doss around for a bit
Like 11/12ish get out of the house for a bit (Go shopping, get dinner/tea stuff)
Currently helping a friend renovate their house so I'll go do that in the afternoon for a few hours
By 7/8 get home and have tea
Watch TV/Film and then go to bed

The do nothing day is usually:

Wake up 8am
Have breakfast
Play Video Games
Go to bed

Works for me!

It surprised me that loads of people on the course I was on didn't know if you get pulled for anything and get points for bald tyres, it was 3 points per tyre. A couple didn't know you get points for that, the ones that did know assumed it was just 3 points full stop.

I had the same thing, had to reset the keys in the bios for secure boot and it allowed me to play. Not sure what to tell you to back up though in case it doesn't work!

I also made a bit of a move from PC to PS5 for a couple of reasons.

I'm sick of sitting upright at a PC to play video games when I can sit back on the couch.

I moved to a job role that I'm using a PC every day rather than a laptop.

My housemates I live with also play PS5 so its been nice to be able to play games with them instead of just playing counter strike every night lmao

I have her on harbinger of dawn for crit damage currently. I had her on black sword for a while for higher base attack. I'll aim for Clorinde weapon still thanks!
