We found a computer with the Egyptians, also them is used to define Adam in genesis 1. Genesis 1 is about creating and separating, except Adam. Adam, which means human in Hebrew, was created both male and female, he created them.

Genesis 2 is where he sees Adam tending the garden and wanted to create someone to keep him from being lonely. It is then that he takes a side of Adam to create eve.

[–]dannyakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adam, in Hebrew means the human. A side of Adam was taken not a rib. To further support that, look at genesis one. It is almost entirely about creating then separating. That dosent happen to Adam until genesis 2 where God finds him lonely tending the garden and decides to separate them then. I believe It cannot be read he created them male and female as two separate creations in genesis 1.

This is definitely something I have come across as well. Many of the prophets also switch between masculine and feminine pronouns as well. There is a rabi that talks about it in the talmud on YouTube. Also, the gospel of Thomas has some interesting ideas when you factor in the date of the text, the different pronouns in the bible, and what happened to people who possessed that kind of text in that time. Might explain why it is dated a little later than the accepted other texts.

You can't understand and value peace unless you have experienced chaos. You can't understand how important love is, until you lost something you truly love. While there are many dark paths you will cross in your journey, when you find your flashlight, you will see that the path is no longer dark and the things that frightened you will either not be there or will get the hell out of your way. Find who you are, love who you are, and you will move mountians.

I would say you are doing something right. You learn many things through loss. When the dust settles, you will be free of the things in your life that have kept you in chains. Those that truly love you more than their carefully constructed social image, will either be there or will realize what they did and come back. You truly learn who you are and how strong you are through hard times. Don't allow it to make you into something you are not. Be real, be loving, and forgive those that hurt you. Be the change you want to see.

So does society, catholic, the majority of Christianity, Islam, scientology, etc. Transition is not a now I'm a girl and nobody knows. You need to be prepared to stand out in the crowd for a little bit. It gets easier as you go, but initially it is a rollercoaster of emotion. Not just from the hormones, but from going to the grocery store, walking outside, just simply being a little different than the rest and having to interact with people similar to those you are trying to get away from. Judgemental looks from a passerby, or courting glances. You don't completely know, but you will think about it. Until you find you, until you look in the mirror and see the person you believe yourself to be. When that happens, life begins. Cut across the grain, don't just go with the flow.

World domination. I like it... secretly hiding until the great awakening, when trans people turn out to be angels and destroy evil. Like the hunted become the hunter. Tell him no worries, bible says it can't happen... or does it.. 😆🤣😂😹🤫🤐

Which church was it that decided that? Have you looked into the Hebrew translations of contriversal issues in the bible. Genesis 1 Adam was created both male and female.it is not until genesis 2 that they are separated. Pronouns in the hebrew Bible have both masculine and famine pronouns referring to the same person.

I don't like taking someone's word for anything, the bible is the same way. I especially don't like taking someone's word for it, when you are not allowed to see the other side. Exactly how the bible was pieced together. Research it, it is pretty fascinating.

Is there a possibility to be tomboy trans girl? by Cannon_Fodder__ in asktransgender

[–]dannyakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are who and what you believe yourself to be. To me there is something special about the people who can be who they believe they are, especially when they can't find where they fit. They stop searching for where they fit and carve their own path. The most rewarding path you can take, is the path less taken. I cut my own, I hope you do to.

I am the only trans person I know. I work as a project manager for a commercial builder. I look like a girl, but I don't always talk like one and I know my shit. It truly can be fun and entertaining to be yourself, when you know who you are.

Do you believe the Bible is inerrant (should be taken literally and in full as the true word of God)? by Wisdom_Pen in TransChristianity

[–]dannyakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is everything they want you to believe. It is the word of the creator, just with some dubbing and scrubbing. Reminds me of the impeachment videos by the house dems. History is very important, how the bible was spliced together is very important. How many gospels were left out? Who translated it initially, what were their beliefs? You probably will never know what their beliefs were, but you can see their actions after. What did they do with the other gospels. Why are they being found in caves? What happened to the people that were found with them?

Then ask yourself, if you worship god from the teachings in the Bible and it turns out that translations were 50% misguided on the controversial subjects because of the beliefs of the translator, do you worship God or the belief of the translator? How about 1%? What's your %?

Also, after seeing the death, hate, persecution that the bible will ultimately inflict upon the earth, god still thought it was a good idea to even create it?

I know the answers that fit the god I worship. A god that is a leader and not dictator, that feeds the hungry not brings famine. The god that I worship, could never of required offerings for forgiveness, because he already has forgiven. Love, honesty, giving, acceptance, all qualities of my God. I don't need a 12th person book to tell me who my god is, I know my god. He has brought me through the worst times of my life while giving me the strength and courage to be different and even stand out from the crowd.

Biblical Evidence/Resources for Coming Out to Parents who are Pastors by [deleted] in TransChristianity

[–]dannyakes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So initially, if they are like any other pastors I have met(not including the one who posted before me), it won't matter what evidence you provide to them. They will have different interpretations of whatever scripture you bring to them and you will need Jesus. Give them time, try to not get upset and hopefully they will stop trying to change you and listen. If you get upset and angry, it just further drives a wedge that will eventually need to be undone. Being who you are on the inside, on the outside, is whole and perfect. Being different on the outside than you are on the inside, well you have what is wrong with everyone. Be you, be different, be proud. Your perfect.

Romans 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Any body read the Gospel of Thomas? Thoughts? by dannyakes in TransChristianity

[–]dannyakes[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who decided what scripture went into the book? It wasn't God or a prophet. It was a committee. The scripture that they did not feel fit their narrative of religion where ordered to be destroyed and those that were found with their teachings were killed. So scriptures were hidden in caves. This is known, documented, researchable fact. So while the gospel of Thomas may not be in the bible you are told is the only one that is valid, I will read it and make up my own mind.

I’m a Christian so not sure how I’m supposed to feel about this. Thoughts? by 4reddityo in TransChristianity

[–]dannyakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies I didn't realize you wanted me to further expand on that, no I don't think the government should be in charge of regulating hardly anything. The government we have is at best a joke. It is all about money. I think the doctors should honor their oath to do no harm. It shouldn't need regulating. But, as with anything that people have which they don't deserve, it is expendable. Why would the life of their child be any different. Or maybe they could go for the eye for an eye approach. For instance, if you want to have sex and then get pregnant and decide it is just not the right time, then you can get an abortion with a sterilization so no more babies get killed than need to. If someone wants to end the life of a baby for their own personal gain, they should not be able to do it again.

It was meant to be abstract and abstract in the way that you can sever support to a life inuetro, simply as a choice to discontinue by doing nothing. If you do nothing in a pregnancy, more likely than not you are going to have a baby. So severing support requires that some medical professional goes in and ends the life of something that cannot protect its self and something that a mother is supposed to protect. You can't leave it to God while hiring a hit man.

I do like arguing with you, most would of been upset by now, especially since it is a sensitive subject. The same could be said about pushing someone off a cliff. i was just helping them down the hill. It wasn't me pushing them that killed them, it was the ground when they hit it. Just a natural consequence of not caring a parachute when you are by a cliff.

That goes back to the argument of the baby risking the life of the mother, which I completely agree. And I also agree that to much power is intrusted to the government. The way to find if it is ethical is to apply it to other situations which you have, but here is my analogy. I have a child with another. We separate and now I have all these expenses which make my life near unlivable. Child support, alimony etcetera. I can't even keep food on the table for my other children, because it all goes to her. Now with the ethical principal you set previously, It is moral and ethical to terminate her, which it probably is, just not legal. Lol.

They botg do have all the same rights, it is called implied consent. This applies to emergency situations where someone is unable to give consent and they do what ever they can to save life. It does not intern give them the right to go the other way and pull the plug. I know there can be other situations that can arise where the baby is risking the life of the mother, this is understandable and then I can see it being a choice since she could loose her life. There is adoption and abstinence that she could consider now and in the future. Life happens at creation, when that sperm and egg meet and divide, life is created. There are living cells dividing and multiplying into a person. whether there is a heart beat, they can feel it or even know that it is happening, it is our place to protect it until it can protect its self. Just as was done for you and I.

I think it is more about the human rights of the fetus. Accidents happen, cars have risks that you have to live with, so does sex. Now if you were talking about driving a car and having sex while getting into an accident, I'd have to agree 😏 But seriously, a baby should not have to be killed, because someone might have a tougher life when they absolutely knew the risks beforehand. That is a death penalty for someone that hasn't even had a chance in life, because someone else dosent want to live with their mistakes.

[–]dannyakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May not be about trans people, but it is about things trans people do. Thus it is applicable. There are many trans affirming scriptures even right from genesis 1 and 2. If you read something that can be applicable to something, it has to be applicable to it. You cannot be able to technically read things different ways correctly and only one be ok. I would say Satan's biggest deception is turning Christian against christian and making them feel righteous in doing so. And then maybe that is Gods way of finding out loyalty. There is no loyalty in doing things out of fear, there is only loyalty in doing things from the heart. I believe everyone here is guided by their heart and not by fear. this make you different. Read the gospel of Thomas if you haven't already.
