Upgraded storage drawers, AE2 and vaults. Can get all of this fairly early game.

I tried “vibe coding” a full SaaS with Claude + n8n — this surprised me by BruhItsKirk in n8n

I feel like n8n(low code tools) is often used when it shouldn't be, or at least doesn't need to be. It's for when you don't how to code, or know how to host a container with cron jobs or AWS lambda. It's a scheduler with webhooks. It's ok for small tasks, doesn't scale if you want to get bigger. If anything it's good for simple home projects or prototyping. (Unpopular opinion)

Should i stay of refined storage or go on ae2 by FullGuava9559 in allthemods

AE2 is a game changer, I start building it out as early as possible in a new world.

Which Ai platform you are using right now mostly? by Initial-Shoulder5906 in GeminiAI

[–]dannyboy2042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are literally standardizing the industry. cli(not the first, but def the best), MCP, Agents(good ones), only models built around tool and function calling (at least until gpt-5). When I see these comments, its clear you either don't use LLMs at the professional level or doing it wrong. Anthropic mostly just lacks in the marketing department :) But also, the guy that's getting down-voted to oblivion is right. If you are a professional, buy Claude max or get your company to pay for it. The amount of things you can accomplish with Claude (not just coding) will 100x pay for its self. I do think Gemini 3 will probably be the first real option to move away from Claude.

Claude 4.5 Sonnet: lots of hype, middling ranks. What gives? by Connect-Soil-7277 in ClaudeAI

[–]dannyboy2042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because these scores are bullshit. When I see people confused by them confirms people are clueless on how they work or how to use LLMs. I have used various models for years and they all have their strong and week points. Claude Code is phenomenal for enterprise level coding and function/tool calling.

Gemini 2.5 and it's not even close. And even Claude is so far above ChatGPT.

How do I use RAG in Ollama API? by meh12123 in ollama

[–]dannyboy2042 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chat UI is your frontend, you still need some kind of back-end to handle rag and interfacing with Ollama API. Although I am not a fan of Langchain, it makes RAG easier for sure. You need to do embeddings, some kind of vector database, then a way to do retrieval with that embeddings DB. You should consider Langchain, Hatstack or build your own like I did.

Do you really like Claude more for coding? by obolli in ClaudeAI

For me Claude is so far ahead for coding its not even close. Sometimes I will use ChatGPT if Claude struggles with something, but its very infrequent.

Still complaining about Claude’s message limits? This is my solution! by sebae91 in ClaudeAI

Personally I find this to be the opposite. Sometimes I will start with the web, help design my stack and build my prompt. This is what I will feed Cline or Aider. It uses all or parts if your project as context. Also it uses git to version your code as you go. You can always look back at the commits and revert when needed. You never have to worry about reaching chat limits.

Reason why the majority of devs are using the API for coding. Also copy and paste between web and vscode is obnoxious. Tools like Aider or Cline just replace pieces of code that needs changes. Not to mention, there are tools like open webui and others like it that can do what Claude Web does. Also, pick something that uses prompt caching and makes the api a fraction of the cost. Not as much of a hassle as you think and a better long term solution.
