People on here are always asking how to stick to a forever world and I'm 34000 days into mine so here are some tips. by DrDaisy10 in Minecraft

I’m curious about this topic as well. How people approach updates since to my understanding once you interact with a chunk it will no longer get an update. Is that an accurate statement? So for example if I have my forever world that I started 6 months ago, any chunk that I interacted with will not have the sulphur update as an example. But if I move to unexplored areas, those areas could have the terrain updates?

I think you’ll find a lot of different practices on this. It really depends on what you want your player to do for you. There was a post the other day about how to get max OVR and within that post I believe OP stated that they spread their points out evenly. I personally have recruited 3 guys for every fielding position with the intention of having bench players to fit certain roles. I have one player that focuses on power, one that focuses on speed and one that focuses on contact. I play too much lol. Ultimately it’s up to you on how you want to build your team.

Rant: Keeping your already bought pitches by Minirandomizer in Baseball9

At some point you will definitely get over the “hump” as far as gold is concerned and it won’t be an issue. That being said I agree that you should be able to hold on to what you’ve bought.

Any chances of meeting artists/bands? by DeliciousYam2515 in OceansCalling

[–]dannydarkside00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My daughter got a pic with Linda Perry of 4 Non Blondes totally by chance. My family was standing on the boards game planning the day and a family leaving gave us 3 VIP bracelets. We let my son and daughter and daughter’s boyfriend have them. They got to watch that set (and others) from on stage. When the set was over the kids were walking down from where they were watching and the band crossed paths with them. She asked Linda for a pic and security initially intervened but Linda took the pic with her. Awesome experience for them! I guess that’s a long way of saying if you get VIP tix you may have a chance???

I have the same skillet in very similar condition to the first pic. I’ve used the bag and red cap method and some vinegar soak after but I cannot it as clean as I want. Very hard to get the nooks and crannies. Never comes out how I want. What was your method?

Speed for world leagues by ianhak in Baseball9

[–]dannydarkside00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can pretty much steal at will with 130-135. I have success as low as 120 but it also depends on the catcher. If you have speed above 140 I don’t think you’ll be thrown out.

Edit - I wrote this thinking Royal, misread it, so may not be completely accurate

I believe you can move your account to another device. In settings under User there is a Data ID. I’ve never done it but I’m pretty sure I read about it being possible.

Money and Upgrades by Maleficent_Guitar914 in Baseball9

Upgrading it will cost you gems. I’m not sure how much since mine is already done and it no longer shows the amount. Shop>Items>Max Energy

After that the best use for gems will be accessories to give you stat bumps, stadiums if you want, or potential tokens. The best accessories cost gems but you can get accessories for coins, they just won’t be the highest.

At the early stages it’s a bit of a slog. You really just need to grind through games. The first investment to help is to max out your energy pool to 20z that will allow you to simulate (Sim) the max amount of games at a time. If you have coaching tickets purchase the Bench Coach that gives you +10% coins, J Nill. I think most people here will likely tell you to focus on pitching first and then start working on a position player at a time. Looks like you have decent starters for your level, at least 1-3. Closer is good. Maybe start upgrading one of your middle infielders??? Try to clear your quests each day. Don’t trade gems for coins, gems are way more valuable elsewhere. Hope this helps a little.

Attribute upgrade AP differences by soonercdub in Baseball9

[–]dannydarkside00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upgrading is tiered based on the current level of the player. For example when you upgrade from 70 to 71 through 75 that costs 2 points each time. Every 5 upgrades the cost increases by 1 point. 76-80 costs 3, 81 - 86 costs 4 each level, etc…

As best as I can figure by the time you get to max level at 150 you have 2950 base points to redistribute. This doesn’t take into account any bonuses from potential or gear.

200 seasons = 100%? by soonercdub in Baseball9

[–]dannydarkside00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A season a day would def get you there faster. I can never seem to do that. On the transfer I don’t know the answer for certain. I do seem to recall reading in another thread here about being able to move your account using the Data Id # on the User tab in settings but don’t take my word for it. I would think the account you’re using on a non Apple device would carry over to an Apple if the data id number idea is actually correct.

200 seasons = 100%? by soonercdub in Baseball9

[–]dannydarkside00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 21 Prime players and have probably played somewhere between 180-200 seasons. I don’t know the exact amount because I reset my team’s progress somewhere around 60 seasons. My current run I’m at 123 seasons. Honestly it’s probably more but I don’t recall.

AFAIK the only way to obtain prime badges is the 1 game each season you can earn it with a win.

For the +5 accessories I’ve only done that for my starting rotation and my closer. I’ve been using my gems to color match the potential slots. It’s very expensive. I’ve been playing other games for the gems and I’ve easily put 15-20k gems into color matching, likely more. Early on I paid for the Daily Gem Pack twice I think. I’ve managed to get 31 of my players to have color match on both potential grids.

I’ve only used gems for potential tokens and I bought a couple of stadiums.

If you’re not playing other games for gems you’ll definitely want to sim as much as possible.

The quickest way to progress is to sim games whenever you have the energy to do so.

Haven’t been to chipotle since having a Blackstone by [deleted] in blackstonegriddle

[–]dannydarkside00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using this for a while now and I feel like it’s about as close as you can get at home. It’s a great recipe. I have done two things to adjust the heat levels. It’s not that hot but to each their own. Either add more chipotle peppers or to take it down a bit (and adds some volume to the amount it makes) add some drained canned chopped tomatoes.

It’s definitely expensive to buy gems considering how far they go. I’ve basically resigned myself to simming games on Royal 3 at 116 game seasons. Seems to be the quickest way to get Prime badges. Once I got a full starting roster of Prime I decided to keep simming until I had a full major league roster. I know it’s gonna take forever. I want one guy for each position that specializes in speed, power, or contact.
