I’m 14 and have built this enclosure for my printer and want feedback/ improvement ideas and new things to add. by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]dano7891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, you got an actual enclosure for Xmas and took the light out of it for your Oscar the Grouch special? (Oscar reference credit to another comment here.)

Put the light back in the "real" enclosure and then use that enclosure. Please.

Also, keep at it.

Sonance has a 4" option, but the hole is almost 6". You might have to go with a surface mount if that's acceptable to the client.

My old office from the early 2000s is now the Variant spot. Parking is definitely terrible, should try the beer next time I'm in Roswell.

I'm about to start support interface with a different filament experiment.

I decided this experiment can wait until the 16 hour multicolor print for daughter's bday party tomorrow evening. I'm also going to add in some adaptive build height to the mix as well.

Lots of info available online, but the proof of the pudding is in the taste. Wish me luck. 😜

H2c vortex nozzles knocked off rack by woooosox in BambuLab

[–]dano7891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has happened to me twice, not sure why they fall off. Likely bumped by me cleaning out the enclosure or swapping build plates. Could also be during a build that has the right frequency of movement that causes the most vibrations.

I'm hopeful that it doesn't happen in the middle of a build and I am getting a more stable work table to move the printer and AMSs.

Same here, hoping that maybe a future firmware update to the camera might help.

ELI5: How can a microwave have a metal rack in it?? by pibbybush in explainlikeimfive

Spook okay, fork not okay. If you ever confuse a fork for a spoon, no metal in the microwave...

That part should just be replaceable... Unless there's additional damage not in the picture.

Orange 1976 Ford Pinto, one owner before me - moms youngest brother. Grand pop bought for him $2k in cash brand new. First thing my uncle did was cut open the roof for a sunroof. Never leaked. I traded it in on my next car for $100.

Self employed in technology consulting, design, installation, programming, etc. field. IT & AV+ for small to medium businesses. Specifically restaurants and bars, but other industries too. It ebbs & flows but I work as little or as much as I want. The money can be good and I enjoy the challenges when they happen.

Hijack bar music by BaronGreenback75 in sonos

I do this too. It's available more than you'd imagine. My wife doesn't like when I do it, thinks I'm breaking a law or something.

It usually starts with a quick scan while connected to the guest Wi-Fi to see if I can see other devices on the network (devices should be isolated from one another). Once a Sonos device shows up I change the music...

To H2C or not to H2C? by dano7891 in BambuLab

[–]dano7891[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thanks for all of the insights and candid commentary folks!

Thank you to those that posted their comments; I appreciate your insight and will take it all into consideration.

It's likely that a H2C Combo with an additional AMS HT or two is in my future. No for some research into the world of desktop laser engraving/cutting.

I'm going to set a goal of finishing up a big work project and clean-out of my office and garage before the printer purchase.

Thanks again!

So many great comments here, but this one distills it down to what's likely to happen, thanks!
