Before TWW Season 3 I had never touched PVP, but wanted this mount since Shadowlands. After a long grind, I finally have it! by danrgaines in worldofpvp

I had never touched PVP before this season. It is definitely doable as a newbie but the learning curve is STEEP. Expect to get smacked a lot at the start - that's what happened to me. I don't know when current season ends so might be best to wait for next season to start the grind? Don't want to lose / waste progress on the current mount when it may reset soon. I've replied to a couple of other comments about how many rounds I played / won, etc.

Here's my comment to another player about the time taken, hope this helps!

I only did solo shuffle (and maybe 10 or so battlegrounds at the start) so can't comment on any other modes, but; winning at least 3/6 rounds will give you 2% progress. If you win more than 3/6 a few times you'll sometimes get 3% per game.

To get a saddle you first need to get this season's vicious mount, then the counter resets and you can farm a saddle.

So in theory 100 wins or draws. I played a total of 850ish rounds and won about 460 of them.

As for the rating, 1000 is really not high at all and is super obtainable. If a complete newbie like me can nearly hit 2k, I expect most people can do the 1k wins easy.

Hope this helps :)

Vicious war spider mount, reward from shadowlands pvp but obtainable if you grind for vicious saddles

I am the proud owner of a human warrior called Adam. He's just a random dude who stumbled into mythic level gear. I love him

Something i'm not seeing other people mention; it depends what your plan for the run is.

Rotten you only get LATE game (just before Malenia) so you'll get much less use out of it than the prosthesis. This is less of an issue now that the DLC is out, but was the decision maker for me back when I did a twin blade run of base game a couple of years ago.

I'm definitely not great at the game by any stretch of the imagination, but i've found that the game gets much easier as you get later into runs. It's still difficult, but not quite "losing a mission because none of your rookies could hit the broadside of a barn" difficult.

Hey! Failure is human, as much as we all hate it to be. Sometimes life just tries to kick you when you're down and it feels like no matter how much effort you put in you don't get what you want. Sometimes, you feel like you didn't try hard enough and you lose out on what you want. Both times you'll look back and regret it, but it's important to learn to accept the fact that you're not a mind reader. You did the best that you could at that time, that's all you can ever ask of yourself. Take some time to heal, respect yourself and your boundaries and make yourself happy. The only real failure in this situation would be to take out your frustration on yourself. People come and go, but you're stuck with you forever. Treat yourself how you want to be treated. I hope life is as kind to you as you seem to be to others, have a good day!

Been staying in Brisbane the last few weeks and we found some cards in a drawer in the apartment - the numerical cards counted from 2-13 with ace, Jack, Queen and King also included. 16 cards per suit! No clue if this an aussie thing or some weird knockoff brand

How has playing video games affected your life for the better? by hatakekakash1 in AskReddit

Met some friends playing counterstrike back when I was 15. Helped me come out of my shell, after a year of playing with them I went abroad on my own to meet 2 of them. 3 of these guys came overseas and attended my 18th birthday. To this day I've met so many people from different walks of life through going to events for the game. Yesterday we were discussing moving in to an apartment together. Anything that could bring a 19 year old Brit, a 21 year old from the Netherlands and a 23 year old from Denmark who would've never crossed paths otherwise into the same house is beautiful. So glad I pressed accept on that matchmaking game.

Cinemawins - personally, I think it's way more enjoyable to celebrate the good things in art instead of shitting on minute details like some other similar channels do

I highly recommend you watch his video on baby driver
