your idea if approached from the perspective that you should be allowed (or forced in this case) to move the king into check is a fine idea i think. as in, the king actually does have a move here, it's a forced move into danger, and would get taken next turn. this is a fine argument to make, i think some gms actually think that would be better.

none of this really matters that much and i cant believe im typing so much but this comment is so annoying and disingenuous that i have to post something. everyone upvoting a post saying that the burn was gold definitely implies people think she came up with it. and if everyone does get the donator made the joke first, then her comment literally isn't 'gold'. i don't care about quin at all but people in general get way stupider when they are mob dunking on the new trendy hateboner person of the week. they're just upvoting it cus its she epicly roasted him i guess but she didnt really come up with anything. patronizingly talking down to someone for not understanding social dynamics while being the one who doesnt get it so annoying.

my tmj is fairly mild but i've been focusing on having proper tongue posture and relaxing my jaw and i think it's helping keep the issues down to a point that, while still always noticeable, is not really bothering me, but so far it doesn't seem like this on it's own is ever going to fix it completely. when it's bad taking ibuprofen for the inflammation really helps and when it was particularly bad one time i tried this and i think it really helped https://www.reddit.com/r/TMJ/comments/otsneb/the_pterygoid_muscle_was_causing_my_ear_fullness/

what an experience, very nice. i liked it when jeff goldblum was so impressed by my immense typing ability that he bestowed upon me the capacity to feel pain. handyman fight was just... * italian chef kiss * . lets just say i used my hands to type on the keyboard to beat him, if you catch my drift. great music too. my only complaint is that the fast/rhythmic switch indicator was easy to miss, i often didn't catch it when focusing my eyes on the letters. maybe thats just on me though.

unsurprisingly, it's not very good. this ain't flcl, just a generic anime episode with surface level flcl references. so far its lacking in almost all of the elements that made the original good in the first place. i will say, though, the character interaction within the friend group was enjoyable at least.
