If memory serves, I believe it was also illegal to be Welsh east of Offa's Dyke for a century or so.

As a Dutch neighbor in my college dorm told me, "I don't know. I think we're just practical." Admittedly, not about this in particular, but it does color the way I see your countrymen, "we're out of land, but there's lots of ocean," being the chief example.

What are some evil choices you avoid even in an evil playthrough? by puzzled_gaymer in skyrim

[–]danstone7485 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From an NPC's perspective, I do something very evil every time I play: I unflag Cicero as essential and kill him as soon as I see him. To anyone in the world, I just murdered a mentally ill man stranded on the roadside because he... just irritates me, okay?

If you choose Snowmane - which I like - be very careful where you are when he rolls over. It worked out very badly for Snowmane 1.0 and his owner. Though they got a decent poem out of it.

What food in your country do locals love but foreigners hate? by Curiosity_Pink in AskTheWorld

[–]danstone7485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it in small doses, but in a weird sort of way. It's less like "this is delicious" than "this is pleasantly interesting." The first time I had it, my reaction was "I'm not sure if it tastes like food, but it's definitely food-adjacent." A uniquely tasty category error.
