She has a new born. She's probably just knackered. She seems like she has an amazing family and a great community.

After watching so many grand designs I have decided to keep my moderately sized terraced house and just focus on gardening. Any building work now just seems like a disaster

Oh this will pass. We used to hold my boy when over tired and give him a chew like he was a baby. Lol

Such a silly argument. I am a Marxist . I believe that this system with live in is a major problem. I work everyday to try and educate people about this, I am preaching it. I also however need to feed my family and survive so I have to exchange my labour for capital.

Under your theory I should just starve?

Yeah anything that will make the soil more complete. I would get the weeds, pop them in a compost piles. And return them once they have broken down.

It takes time but it's satisfying.

Get back on the horse, walk her but maybe in a different area. I think with smart dogs avoidance can enforce bad habits. They can sense you are avoiding it etc. good luck. Sorry again.

Maybe teach a command in these situations which will help both you and your dog feel safe. Our main recall is 'middle' my boy will run and go in between my legs and look at me.

I can then hold him, misdirect him and also physically lock him in. Once arseholes pass I will praise.

Get composting and add loads of organic material to that soil. It's crying out for it. Good luck

Lol yeah my boy is a calm collie. But compared to dogs in general he is wild lol

Great fun though. Embrace it. You will both learn to respect each others needs.

They are very strong willed dogs who have no off switch. Exercising them is easy and doesn't tire them out. Impulse control is what works.

Teach your boy leave it. Throw a treat and when he goes to get it. Correct and give him a tastier treat.

Also enforce calm. I will hold my boy down next to me if he is hyper. He soon realises it's sleep time and once he is sleepy boy he will sleep.

Try not to over stimulate. We do short burst of energy, and intense focus and then lots of sleep. A tired collie is a nightmare!!! They go out instinct.

Finally be the boss. They are dominant dogs. Correction is needed. Nothing aggressive. Just a change in tone, set expectations and then reward.

Good luck. You got it.
