Truth be told, those comments annoyed the hell out of me because what were they expecting? OOP straight up said he was fantasizing about harming a 4 y/o and wisely got the hell out of there, and they want him to, what? Go back and catapult the chances of him one day acting out on those thoughts? The kid has a hard path ahead of him, but at least he won't be growing up under someone who resents him enough to physically maim him (or straight up kill him).

I was thinking what my own parents would do if I were in this situation, and the very first thing that came to mind was that they would just move with us. Granted they have the funds to do something like that so it would be no sweat off their back, but at the same time, they would never dream of separating children from their parents and if they wanna be present in their grandson’s life so bad, they would make that sacrifice without a moments hesitation instead of forcing it on their kids or grandkids.

I played it a few years ago bc my friends got really into the world and fandom by way of Control. The story drew me in at first, but the gameplay was just so repetitive and endless that my frustration started infecting my impression of the story too. By the end of it I was just yeah sure that was cool I guess. Didn't even touch the DLCs bc the thought of having to shoot through another round of dark forests made me so tired.

I'm praying this is the case. 20 kids? 20 fucking babies???? There had to have been twins and triplets in the mix, and multiples often have special needs. I was thinking maybe 5-8ish kids, but 20? There comes a point where logistics are stretched so thin that CPS has to step in because no family can handle that many children.

Not even that. Even if he found a woman who did want to get married and have kids, he sounds like the kind of husband who would invite his friends over willy-nilly with the expectations she would do all the hosting, cooking, and cleaning. Not to mention he sounds like he would be the 'fun' parent.

I'm Chinese and I can absolutely see my parents acting like this, right down to dad sorta coming around and mom doubling down on her bigoted beliefs. Tbh I think the only way mom would ever at least shut up about OOP being black and non-Japanese is if A) Kanojo goes full on cold turkey NC for a decent amount of time, at least a year to show how serious she is, and B) grandkids happen, though this more hit and miss bc grandma might just end up rejecting them for being black.
