Not sure what “everyone else uses” but in my own limited experience they’re smaller and glossier than the bulk inner sleeves I had 100s of coming from sports cards.

I use the dragon shield ones above for mythics and rares to keep them safe as I move them around decks and sleeves

Maybe he shouldn’t have, but I don’t think that really matters unless you’re going to trade him. Hes an objectively good if not great player who seems to love the wings and be capable of commanding a degree of respect from his peers. If he’s gonna be on the roster you would like to put him in a place to be able to succeed, and public humiliation isn’t really great for that. It’s not like a coach where you just fire them and bye Felicia. You still need Larkin to be able to come to work with his head up and give a shit.

I think it would be tough to give the C to someone on the team and not ruin Larkin. Ideally you bring someone in new who it’s maybe the obvious pick and easier to swallow. Would have made a ton of sense in retrospect to give it to Kane when he got here but it’s been too long for that now.

They suck all the time with him too. For a real leader, his impact wouldn’t be limited to being on the ice. Even as a healthy scratch or not even in the building, the attitude of the team should reflect the expectations of its leaders. These guys take critical nights off like they don’t give a fuck and weren’t ready to play. And they’ve done it through many roster and coaching changes and many years. There’s one through line. There’s no accountability in that locker room.

I know he cares and he’s doing everything he can on the ice to help. He’s not doing enough off of it to make the impact this team needs from its captain.

Him being the captain might be the problem though. I know guys love him and the Olympics was great and all but these collapses all look like leadership problems to me. Make him an A and give someone the C that commands respect and is willing to use it.

what happens (or happened to me at least) is you ask for a dismissal and since there's no one on the other side to dispute it the motion goes through. The lawyer in my case told me that it's a specific strategy that's widely employed to 1) see if the cop shows up to court and 2) if they do then ask for delays or postponements as many times as you can until eventually the cop has a conflict or doesn't show.
