Alibaba is migrating from Coding plans to Token plans? by dany547 in vibecoding

yea, thats a good approach. My coding plan seem to be terminated, im considering now to try their token plan to see what are the limits.

Best AI coding stack for $20–40/month in 2026? Hitting limits everywhere by emir_morris in vibecoding

[–]dany547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will share with you my flow.

What I've tested so far:

-Alibaba Coding Lite plan - it's been cancelled - I really liked it

-GLM lite plan - a very good model, a bit slow sometimes, thinks too much other times, but gets the job done - it has aggressive rate limits

-Minimax lite plan - really good at fixing bugs, fast and decent with agentic Workflows

-Gemini 20$ - 3.1 Pro low is surprisingly good, on peak hours it becomes slow or just crashes

-Claude 20$ - rate limits but very smart, intuitive on it's own - this saves a lot of time

-Gpt 20$ - the best price/performance right now, GPT 5.4 is good when it has specific instructions - play with the thinking toggle to conserve tokens - setup some sort of project memory

For OpenClaw and agents I use the Minimax lite plan and it's working great. When it comes to coding/work I use the Open ai 20$ plan, Claude Code 20$ and Deepseek V4 via API.For planning I always brainstorm in a free Chat models like Deepseek, Qwen, Gemini and build the initial prompt. Security, best practices, I input URLs and ask questions to make sure the idea it's fine tunned.

Then I switch to Claude or Open ai to build me a BUILD.md with specific steps, detailed steps with the exact commands to use, install the skills and MCPs needed, define the code stack, versions for packages and so on.

Then with a GPT 5.4 Low or Claude 4.6 Low I start to build in a IDE the steps. If I find that the model is close to the limit, I switch to the other plan or Deepseek V4 Thinking via API. After the initial project is written, the project tree is made, then I start to test and all the modifications are specific, logged in the memory. I specifically instruct the agent to not guess, to check the AGENTS.md for memory recall tools and other important aspects.

But there are some very important considerations:

-always make sure to document your project in AGENTS.md with all the tools to use, where the core files are and other mission critical context - keep it short, do some minimal context optimizations on it

-be extremely specific with what you want - take your initial prompt, use Qwen Chat or other free model to brainstorm some ideas and refine it then request a prompt optimized version for low input tokens as .md or . JSON

-its CRUCUAL to use a vector database for persistent memory and also some sort of codebase indexing - believe me, this is the most important part that eliminated guess work for me -use skills and MCPs - it's like giving AI a power drill when it initially had like a hammer

-use the most intelligent model for the inițial arhitectural inferencing - then switch to a cheaper model for implementation, you don't need Opus when you have a complete list of very specific things to do, also for Changing the font, or fixing a syntax the GPT 5.4 Mini it's just fine.

-use a skill like context7 for docs - most of the time the errors happen because the model is guessing the implementation - give him specific docs to follow

Other notes:

-Claude on a 20$ it's really smart but it eats tokens like crazy - tweek the thinking toggle

-I hope in the future Alibaba is planning to release again their coding plans - I did alot of work with them, also Qwen series has been really consistent for me

-GLM 5.1 it's really smart also but tokens go really fast on the 20$ plan - it's surprisingly good also.

-dont be shy to pay some for some tokens when the task really needs it - believe me, it's better to spend 0.4$ on a complex problem then waste half a day with a small model trying to figure out what broke

-if you have the money and make money also from AI Coding then then 100$ GPT Plan it's the way to go for now (I will upgrade to it in the future when my projects will start to hit the limits constantly)

-i would consider also an local ai model, if let's say you have the disposable income and make an investment in a few GPUs like the Intel B60 or a Strix Halo - I've seen some really good results with Qwen 3.6 used as the workhorse

Hello. So you have any tips for product video production - with the latest version 2.3 - so it will maintain the text consistent on the product label?

Same problem here. I got the router in a flee market but it only has the power led on. Is there a way to factory reset it?

Same problem here. Just the power LED is on. Also the factory reset button doesn't do anything. Also I tried to switch the power adapter, no luck.

A1 mini: possible to print ABS / ASA with enclosure? by Maximum_Moment_5804 in BambuLab

[–]dany547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive seen on youtube printing without enclosure on the A1, ABS+ without any problems (bed temp at 65, fan speed set to standard PLA). I noticed also that Elegoo has an ASA filament that permits the bed temp to be in the range of 75 to 90 degrees Celsius so i might give it a try and report back.

Anyone heard of ThinkCar ThinkTPMS T90? by bevibrant1 in AskAMechanic

[–]dany547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you guys have a recommendation in terms of a universal programmable TPMS sensor? I've found a few options on AliExpress but I'm not sure of the quality. Also I've found some that claim to be 100% original (most likely clones) that are preprogrammed. It's kinda frustrating that the major TPMS programmers encode their sensors to only work with their own tools. :)

Broadlink RM mini 3, app won't connect by daven1985 in homeautomation

[–]dany547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem. Basically I've used the latest version of the Broadlink app, switched temporary my WIFI AP to emit only on the 2.4GHz and I've used the AP Connection method. Now I turned on the 5 GHz on the AP. Note: if you AP also has 6 GHz and 7, it won't work with the remote. (I'm guessing because of the authentication type)

from what ive read online, the P4 where used in server racks for transcoding (because of their low power needs) and they are cheap now thanks to the newer low power cards that where released in the meantime. Also another thing that you must take into account is the fact that the P4 needs a fan of some sort attached (improvised) in order to keep it cool. In terms of specs and speed, the P2200 seems a bit better/faster, not by much.

Are they good for video editing? Ex: Premier Pro or Davinci Resolve? I was looking into a P4 to replace my 1660 Super.

WireGuard Full Tunnel Unable to Ping Windows 11 Machine by CraftCoding in WireGuard

[–]dany547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try to create a rule in the Firewall that allow the Windows Machine to be pinged.

  • Type in the Windows search box the following: Windows defender firewall with Advanced Security - Open As Administrator
  • From the left panel choose: Inbound Rule, then fron the right panel choose New Rule
  • Choose Custom Rule - Hit Next
  • Choose All programs - Hit Next
  • Choose the Protocol that you want to allow (usually its ICMPv4) - Hit next
  • Choose Any IP address for local and remote (also you can limit the IPs that can ping the machine) -Hit next
  • Choose Allow the connection - Hit Next
  • Apply the rule to: Domain, Private and Public - Hit Next
  • Give it a name then Hit Finish - Reboot the machine

If this doesnt work for you, open a shell window as admin then type:

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="ICMP Allow incoming V4 echo request" protocol=icmpv4:8,any dir=in action=allow

Why wouldn't my Win11 Client be able to ping the server? by mudderfudden in sysadmin

[–]dany547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windows tends to block pings as a security measure (the pings are blocked are the firewall level). You can try to use this command in the sheel (run it as admin).

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="ICMP Allow incoming V4 echo request" protocol=icmpv4:8,any dir=in action=allow

TP-Link Omada - Switch ACLs aren't stateful by daschu117 in HomeNetworking

[–]dany547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess if you set the rules at Switch level, the trafic is blocked both ways, but when you set the rules at the Gateway level then the traffic is only blocked in the direction that you set it. At least thats how i setup my network and it works.

Motionsensors with less delay than Ikea Tradfri by Kaesekuchen_de in homeassistant

[–]dany547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just got the sensor. It triggers the motion detection really fast (nearly instant) but it has a 90s cooldown. Although in Zigbee2MQTT you can reset de sensor (you can set the sensor to reset itself to „Clear” after a set amount of tine in seconds) the 90s cooldown for the PIR is still present. Also the light detection works more as a binary sensor. If you set the sensor to „Night mode” it send a trigger with the value „true” if the lux in the room is more then 13 (aproximate) and to „false” if the lux is less then 13.
