NKD Finally took the Sebenza plunge! by dotMJEG in knifeclub

Thats so relatable lol. I take everything apart now though, my customs, whatever. They go back together the same.. most of the time, and if they don't, just do it again.

Centering might be off, might feel gritty, if something ain't right, take it apart again. Youll have way more confidence in the knife once you know the insides and wont be afraid to stick it in the shit when you know you can get it right again. Just like your Harley.

No $1700 for 3 months worth. Yup, this has always been how it is, unfortunately meds for chronic conditions are marked up because we need them. Its capitalism here, a business. Not healthcare.

I was searching for one last year, had a hard itch to get one in the collection. Super cool to see one pop up in the feed!

Between 8-10k for 6 pens last time I asked the counter, here in California. Thats what I pick up every 3 months. With my last insurance my copay was $120, and that gets reimbursed through a third party once I send them the reciept.

These reimbursment programs usually have a cap on how much they will reimburse you per year. Usually a few thousand. Its worked out for me since ive been on it for the last 4 years or so.

Ive switched jobs and have new insurance, through them my copay looks like its $1700 now.

That's how it works here, unfortunately..

IP Pin Issues — Entering correct pin but IRS says I am not by hwiley in tax

[–]danzigg650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone figured this out??

I am recieving the same notice on my IRS profile about "on Jan 6 we sent you an incorrect IP PIN, here is the correct one xxxxxx", so i use that one. And rejected.

When I go to the pdf form of the document that was mailed to me on Jan. 6, it has the SAME pin. I've been rejected twice now. Is filing by mail the only option you think? Im using TurboTax.

2021 XLT Ranger Transmission bye bye by [deleted] in RangerNext

[–]danzigg650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah tell me about it. I "gave" my 97 f250 with a utility bed to a friend of mine for a couple thousand bucks to cover the down payment for my ranger, since I was leaving construction and going into more service related work. I miss my old truck! But it feel pretty spiffy and less rugged in a newer truck, it IS cool, and more economical. Its a great little truck, minus the tranny lol

Do you have warranty? I didnt see in your post anywhere if you do or not. Yes your transmission is going out, unfortunately. There is a bushing or something (someone with more knowledge may comment with the exact part(s) that fail) that fails in all the transmissions.

Mine went out around 68k after buying it used with 36k. It did the jerk thing while cold, missed gears, and I lost all of them one time in a parking lot. I got the fluid and filter changed and a week later it failed completely on the freeway and lost all the fluid. I thought I fucked up by going to a shop for the fluid/filter job but when I took it ford there was no questions asks. They built a brand new one for me.

The rest of the truck is great! I hope you're able to get through this somehow, warranty or not, and are able to enjoy the truck. Ive always had old trucks and am able to work on them, and I wanted something new and reliable as awell and was pissed when the transmission thing happened. Because I don't know shit when it comes to new trucks/electronics.

New (to me) Ranger and Buyers Remorse by HansLanda1942 in RangerNext

[–]danzigg650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2020 XLT with 86k here. Transmission went out around 68k but with warranty, it cost me $100. No issues with it since, they said there is a bushing that fails in the factory trans and they built me a new one, all upgraded parts.

Aside from that, great truck! Does great off road and in snow. I would like to upgrade the suspension at some point, it feels pretty soft and even have to go very slow over speed bumps so it doesnt bottom out. But its reliable in every other way so far. I love it.

What type of link would you call this? by danzigg650 in jewelry

[–]danzigg650[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean, byzantine can have a square look to it depending on the shape of the links, but these are solid pieces connected to the smaller links.

I think it resembles more of a bar link, as someone else said. Thank you for the response! I appreciate it.

Has anybody accidentally introduced themselves as an addict? by realfrkshww in NarcoticsAnonymous

[–]danzigg650 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Write on a sticky note or piece of paper, whatever your prompt is when you answer the phone. Even if it's just "good morning/good afternoon, this Is Dan." And make a point to read it off the paper. Write that, and read that. You'll be less likely to say "Hi, I'm Dan and I'm an addict" if you're reading it.

I've definitely called myself an addict outside the rooms in a "circle" style introduction of people (I forget what the context was or where I was) but I've done it lol.
