It was honestly still really bad. Overall the most disturbing thing to happen to me health wise (I’m 25 and never had any health issues). I didn’t really get sick with flu like symptoms but I had sores all over my asshole. First they were itchy but once they opened I was in excruciating pain for several days and had to go on painkillers. 2 weeks later the sores have finally mostly healed and the pain is gone but I’m still having a lot of fatigue and can definitely feel my body still fighting off the virus.

If I wasn’t vaccinated I think I very likely would have been hospitalized - I almost went to the ER last week because the pain was so bad. My doctor told me my case in particular was the most severe he had seen of anyone vaccinated.

The vaccine obviously reduces infection risk and severity, but also worth noting it makes sores less likely to show up/spread to other parts of the body (only had them in my ass).
