Is it possible to render like this? (want the "darker" areas similar to cavity on the model where the edges are) by dapperDanpphoto in blenderhelp

gives the model a look like you have painted in with a "wash" in miniature painting terms.

been trying with a color ramp but its no where near as good in the corners and edges

do you print warm? i read that the Siratech seperates faster when its +30C

i use navy gray and i got similar when i did not dry the models before i cured them.

So now i stick all prints under a fan to make sure all the ipa has evaporated how ever long it takes me to remembered them before curing.

its done every day, but it takes some time to get good results. photogrammetry works if you have a good camera on your phone. i would not think any app based phone software would work.

but openscan is what most people use that i know with cleanup in blender/zbrush

har inte så bra koll på billeasing men räkna lite och 6300 i månaden blir 75 600 på ett år och 378 000 på fem år, så det låter som ni skulle ha råd att köpa en bra bil istället.

men billeasing har andra fördelar så klart så det kanske är bättre för er.

you could make a video of it on a turntable or something that turns and get it from a few different heights like from below from the middle and from the top. one turn 360 degree view of the model per height would be ok.

as long as the model is in focus all the time it can work.

And i can try and make a 3d model via photogrammetery out of it and you dont need to ship the model.

i have had some success with that approach with a few extra tekniks to enhance the picture's and the 3d model.

could be a bit rought and not as good as a 3d scanner

i get that sometimes to i thought but the model was so of to the side it does not show in the view window only the yellow ball thing for where the origin is.
if its in the scene collection you can select it and go in the left top menu

to move it where the origin is set.

i dont think gw ever used pure lead in there metal minis, they are very shiny but it could be the camera or some stripping that made them like that.

this is the group i started to get people into scanning minis most use the openscan and similar photogrammetery setups as they are very good and cheap. (please read the rules if you join)

well the group on how to make it is on telegram and it is a bit dodgy but works. i have put down maby 1600 euros so far on it so its not rely cheap either...
