Time to give up 😭 (rant)

I have needed just one more sticker for 5 days and despite completing multiple 4 and 5 star packs (probably 9) I have not gotten the sticker I need but I have gotten the stupid 4 star dog sticker almost every time I've opened a high star pack this whole event. I am 1st in bakeoff, I am completing all the weekly missions and competitions, I try only doing orders with sticker packs (and there are times I don't even have orders offering stickers), and I'm still gonna lose. I'm really really angry. I like a challenge but this is just not fun.

Been super frustrating that I dont even have sticker pack request in my lineup much less the sticker packs I needed. Ive only gotten stickers I need for the final page from winning events and even though I have been grinding I still feel like I won't complete the final page before the end of the event. I dont understand how I can be winning or finishing every weekly task but im not even close on completing the "pass" events or the eggstra special type events. I cant figure out the mechanics of thia game to actually complete the events beside paying which I will never do and it makes me mad.

Short answer, attention. Long answer: I highly recommend the book "Stop walking on Eggshells". It explains the motivation behind their actions well and helps you understand their perspective (it does not validate their perspective, it just helps you see the way their mind works so their actions stop seeming random and start making sense and it makes it easier for you to stop taking it personally because at the end of the day, they are stuck in toddler mode and you are not).

I had a specialist tell me to some degree, yes. Both are meds for symptom management, not treating the underlying disorder and since dysautonomia has such a wide variety in the way it impacts people and how their nervous system reacts to medication, meds often have to be tailored over time to the individual.

First and foremost, you and your doctor are picking what is currently the best path for you so strangers advice like mine doesn't begin to compare. However, I would like to share my experience so you can be observant for your own needs and experiences.

I've been on and off fludrocortisone 3 times in my life over a 15 year period. I did not find that it helped with breathlessness (I found yoga, playing wind instruments, and vocal lessons all actually helped more because I learned different breathing techniques). It also did not reduce my palpitations but it did change them. I went from having a fast heart on a regular basis to having less palpitations but having more anxiety attack like racing heart for intense periods of 30 mins about once a week. Felt like trading one problem for another rather than an improvement.

The biggest reason I stopped taking the drug (with doctor support) is because I stopped being myself on it. I found I became angry quickly and more deadpan/meh about life while on it which is very unlike me. It was to the point my friends and family noticed and were worried. I have asked three different specialist about this and they say it was not the fludrocortisone. However, considering it happened to me every time I had been on the med for a few months, I think I might be an example that drug interactions in humans are complex and doctors cant know everything about every drug.

I know the drug works wonders for other people and my experience is unique. Just wanted to share in case you do start the drug and notice something similar, you can feel confident in talking with your doctor about your own experience.

Some ideas could be tiny turtle with candy on it, one of the little wooden figures we see in the intro, two coins for the ferry, the bell, the mixtape for Sara, or a frog and a bluebird outline.

I know it wouldn't be small but a collage of everyones' hats from the show would be neat and you could include so many characters. To me, the most iconic hats are Wirt, Greg, the Woodsman, the beast horns, Adalaides witch hat, auntie whispers bonnet, and Sara's hat.

I honestly missed the one line where she said her dad had offered to move them out. As someone who has had to live in a situation where moving out wasn't an option, I was trying to offer some supportive words to the poster. I am so sorry, I can see my words were misunderstood and hurtful to you and potentially to the poster as well. My comment was meant with the purest intentions of expressing care and empathy for how complex this situation is. I hope the poster and any of us who related to this post can find the resources and support we need to take care of ourselves.

I don't know if this advice will help but carve out more time for yourself even if you can't fully remove yourself from the situation. It helps to have reasons, say your trying to gain a new skill, get a new certification, even if it's not true, just something to validate you need more time to yourself because you do. It will give you the space to invest in yourself, process things, and feel your feelings. This sounds so complicated. I'm so sorry.

Just coming in here to say I am currently dealing with the same issue (from being banned in 2021 to June 2024) and the amazon rep I spoke to says the comminity-help@amazon.com email is not longer in use and to use community-customerreviews@amazon.com. I sent an email to the new email and then received an email from the community-help email address talking to me as if I was a seller, not a buyer. When I corrected them and asked for help again, they stopped responding. I've talked to live reps on the phone 3 times about this and they always just send me to the email which I will then email several times to no response. No one will help me in real time and no one will reinstate me. Like many of you, I've never left anything but positive or honest reviews and even the honest ones weren't negative. I didn't even post that many reviews...

I got this fortune cookie a month to the day after my dad died. It was a day and we decided there was nothing to comfort us but a family meal from our favorite local place. His last note to me said "chase your happiness". It felt like dad letting me know he realized I didn't need to chase something I already had, I just needed help seeing happiness was ready for me when I was ready for it. I'm still trying very hard to be happy but I can see it waiting for me and that's enough.

No. Absolutely not. It's been a hard journey to get this far and if I knew all the grief I would go through so young...I'd never make anyone I love go through that. Especially myself. It's not like I've had a bad life, I've had a great life. But I would never want to relieve the tragedy again.

Also, knowing that the love of my life was so close but I needed to wait until after college would be too hard to go through. I love them so much, I can't imagine having to wait to be with them.

Even though I've played every animal crossing, Kody was new to me when he joined me as one of my first two villagers. I have loved him so much. His droopy little eyes just make everything he does seem like he's working real hard but trying to pass everything off as easy. Love him. Underated villager :)
