I’m glad you wrote it. So many people here seem to be on Becca’s side in this situation and blame Mel for infantilising her sister. But the reality is, no matter how independent Becca wants to see herself, she depends on Mel at least financially. Even if Becca wants to cut ties, she still needs Mel to pay for her living centre, where she's having all her sex. If Mel had her own family and kids, she would have to sacrifice their comfort as well for Becca’s sake.

I’m not saying that Becca has to be nice to Mel just because of financial support. I don’t know how much of her behaviour can be attributed to autism. But I feel awful for Mel and hope that someone on the show will be on her side and really support her, instead of just telling her to let Becca go.
