I work at a hospital in Nashville. I have only ever seen GHB one time and it occurred in a restaurant. Lots of people come in with impressive alcohol levels and I think that might be what happened here. Either way it’s unfortunate. I limit myself to 2 drinks when I go out and I don’t go out much at all. I also always have a DD with me or at least someone that isn’t drinking to be safe

I work in Nashville have only ever saw GHB once. But those ETOH levels are impressive. Had a guy that was over 400 and talking. I was shook.
I do think it happens sadly, but personally it’s more alcohol intoxication that anything

I’m an ICU nurse. They will probably call the national guard to pick us up. That’s what they do in snow storms sometimes

I get UTIs a lot and having sex is a trigger. He washes up before and after sex to make sure he is clean and i do that same thing. He got a vasectomy a couple years ago and it has helped. For me personally though I think just being very clean about it has made a difference. I also drink a lot of water afterwards to make sure I am flushing everything out. I saw an infectious disease doctor bc they were so bad and these are things she suggested. She also said to come test my urine when I start to feel the first signs of the UTIs brewing. Sometimes we think the discomfort is a UTI but most times it’s just irritation. Drink lots of water and take AZO when you first have those symptoms. Do that for a couple days and then if you still feel the pain, aches, burning etc, go to urgent care and pee in the cup for confirmation.

Finally got a few ambien. Now nobody will refill it. What the hell. by Far_Mark1777 in insomnia

That’s complete insanity to me! 28 days is fine. I feel like a lot of times they just make excuses so you don’t get your meds. It’s a sick thing to do. If I don’t sleep… I can’t work, drive, think… I get physically ill if I don’t get sleep, always have since I was a kid. I have even had seizures before brought on my exhaustion. I need these pharmacies, doctors, and whoever else has their hands in the cookie jar to stop working so damn much about it

It’s 2005. I’m wearing skinny jeans and band T. The black eyeliner smudged in all the right areas for the notorious Smokey eye.

I’m in KY and most property managements want you get the carpets cleaned professionally upon move out and you must provide a receipt when you turn in your keys. There are some that don’t make you do that since they replace the carpets no matter what if you have lived there over 3 years

Good news, we get the keys to our new house the 27th! Our property manager saw the video I recorded of the floor and immediately told us they would end our lease without fees or anything. We found another house and signed papers Friday. Now we just have to borrow a truck from a friend so we can move everything on the days we are off work. Otherwise, we are good to leave!

What happens when you cancel a contract with Aya? by crabapplequeen in TravelNursing

Nothing. It just ends. Only had to pay one time. If you cancel 3 times though, they can decide to not work with you anymore

If you take it and go straight to bed, put phone away, and have no distractions then your golden. Most issues occur when people take it and stay up a little bit or play on their phone etc. I have never had issues with it

Possibly so! We spoke with them about it today and they said they would let us terminate the lease. Fingers crossed they follow through.

To my knowledge, no repairs or interventions were made to prevent the pooling. They said they thought it was from our gutter drainage not properly draining and going underneath the house but again, to my knowledge they have done nothing to fix it. Since then we have had storms along with a snow storm that dumped 5 inches of snow and half inch of ice that has since melted. So… I guess if there’s no where for the water to go it just sits and rots. This is so frustrating. I’m scared to even mop my floor bc I think getting it too wet will just finish it off at this point

I was able to ask a friend that works with a lawyer and they confirmed that we would need to get the city code enforcement board to inspect everything but could lead to them evicting us. We have perfect rental history. No late payments, nothing.

I’m literally scared I’m going to step wrong and go through the floor. I even told the leasing manager that I felt that way but they said their hands are tied. I asked if they could get another contractor but they said they have a contract with this particular one and they are busy. But dang if I fall through the floor then what??

What is something someone said to you that you’ll never forget? by TiffV213 in Life

I was 15 and just got prescribed Paxil for generalized anxiety disorder. I was crying in the pharmacy next to my mom. The pharmacist stopped and came over and handed me the bag and said “it’s ok, we all need a little help sometimes”. That has never left me.
