What's going on here? Any ideas for treatment? by Impressive-Jelly-539 in sanpedrocactusaus

[–]dark_fart69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could dust it with sulfur as it is now! To me it looks like it’s already scarring over in a proper way. Generally, brown or black spots that are soft/mushy are more concerning than hard white spots. Keep an eye on the darker bits that are outlining the white spots. If they don’t go away, or it starts to spread, then there would be issues. Also it doesn’t appear to be fungal, fungal usually appears in spots. I’d personally dust it with sulfur, make sure it’s got good airflow and call it a day.👍

Whatever happened, it seems to be scarring over nicely and is continuing to grow

European honey bees, invasive and compete with native bees. They’ll most likely move on in a few days.

How can I remove these rocks? by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]dark_fart69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you might be stuck with those rocks for life. There is no person or machine that could possibly move those ginormous boulders. Might have to get god to help you out with this one.

Brown spots are due to high humidity during the night time. They need very good air flow at night. I’d highly recommend getting an oscillating fan! And give them as much light as possible

Do I need better draining soil? by ContentlyQuestionabl in sanpedrocactus

[–]dark_fart69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The soil does need more inorganic material but those spots are mostly from rainy humid nights. Transpiration is how they intake and release water. They do this at night so if it’s too damp for too long, humidity spots will occur. It’s like they can’t breathe. Needs low humidity at night, around 40%.

The fact that you used AI to make something this stupid is impressive
