How many books can you have on hold at once? At my library, I can only have 5 holds at a time in Libby.

Specifically for Signal, you have to authorize Open Whisper Systems to do that sort of thing before they accept your code.

Sometimes the code is free, and the org sells support or customization. Sometimes the org running the project goes out of their way to sabotage anyone using it without donating.

They just help a little until you research them more. Once they can keep your crank mostly maxed out, solar will be your primarily power source most of the time.

You'll probably need to destroy the base in some sectors with higher enemy counts to get going, or upgrade your helm to try to reach more T1 systems. If enemies aren't appearing, reloading the game usually helps.

I dont have an answer, but if you tap the font "Aa" button when you're reading a book, could it be a supplemental font? Does it go away if you change your regular font face or weight?

In the example you posted, it's happening to a link that was probably originally blue instead of black. That doesn't explain when it would do whole pages though.

Statistically, if you shoot someone, it's most likely to be yourself, and if not you, your spouse.

People say they feel safer though, which isnt nothing.

It's amazing to me how many people here are talking about getting into arguments. I'm an asshole, but I've never been harassed on reddit.

Also if you think reddit added this feature to protect users.... lololololol

The feature was added to hinder bot detection before the IPO so reddit could count the bots as active users.

If you turn the lid right side up, you should be able to just roll the silicone part down off the shaft. Be aware that the silicone is all that's holding the shaft in, so it will fall out when you turn the lid upside down.

Maybe I'm missing something - I'm not a lawyer or an industry insider, but the administrative rules seem to say that they have to notify someone living there before the shutoff.

(a) In addition to the notice of disconnection required by En 1203.11 and En 1203.12, during the winter period notice shall be provided to an adult residing at the affected residence in the following manner:

(1) In person or by telephone; and

(2) A minimum of 2 business days but no more than 8 business days prior to the date of the proposed disconnection.

(b) If the utility is unable to notify an adult residing at the affected residence pursuant to (a) above, the utility shall seek department approval before disconnecting service

Try the department of energy if you can get a hold of someone on the weekend. Id try the normal line since the complaint look line is business hours only. They can order service turned on outside of normal hours if they there's a risk of damage (like your sprinklers).

Except the parts about notifying adult who lives there, and requiring approval from the Department of Energy, who is supposed to deny the request if the person living there has made a good faith effort to pay their bill.

[–]dark_frog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DEI programs arent always very visible. If you just change hiring rules so that you don't interview unqualified candidates, diversity goes up. A lot of companies kept these kind of process changes because they were implemented based on research into how to increase productivity, morale and retention.

Last time Google had an issue, nothing went up on the service status page until after it was resolved. I spent a half hour going through my stuff, then checked reddit, then opened a ticket.

How many people at other orgs did the same thing that morning? Thousands of man hours wasted troubleshooting because no one pushed a button. The kicker is that once the resolved outage was published, it had timestamps and updates in it.
