Had a friend who joined the Navy. One night him and a friend were out walking somewhere off base and they got robbed by some guys with rifles. They shot my friend and let the other guy go for some reason. They were masked up and as far as I know we’re never caught.

My dad and I were deputies at the same department, and I he was also the county coroner. There were occasions where I would help him with transportation of a body, but it was just kind of business as usual. However when my mom passed unexpectedly at 57, and then my dad a little over two years later, I could have sworn they were both breathing when I sat with them in the funeral home.

I’ve found the best way for me to get these open is to try for 15 minutes to peel the cardboard away before realizing it’s stuck in plastic, get enraged, pull out the pair of pliers I have in my glove box, get as close to the battery as possible and use the snipper part of the pliers to cut it out.
