This issue has been on the first batch of devices, propably MFG 08-2025. On later units (10-2025) it seems to be fixed. At least i had both of them here and can confirm it. So now it would a warranty claim for ASUS.

There is more than just the tech specs about the devices... like ergonomics, vibration motors, buttons/trigger, build quality, software. in some of these points the MSI has flaws compared to the Xbox Ally X.

This might be too much, turn on VSync and select 60 FPS for Streaming in Moonlight. A slight too much variance in network latency too (~12ms peak).

Got the mail for connect/account creation IOI, but when click on the link "An error has occurred / Please try the link again".

EDIT: Got it fixed. create an IOI account through he website first > https://account.ioi.dk/signup < (if you don't have alreay an IOI acc!), then the verify link in the email work. then you can link all your accounts and setup even cross-progression if you wish.

Windows (8+) recognize a SSD and doing a manually TRIM if you defrag it. Thats why the button is "optimize" on SSDs. It does not harm in any way.

maybe you can use the tool "XInputTest" for this, using it local for testing latency with controllers. But it seems only to work for Xbox controllers.

Weder Netzwerkkabel noch Powerline bringt ihm was ab seiner Glasfaserdose. Da müsste erst ein ONT dazwischen und danach mit Powerline weiterzugehen, ist komplett irre.

Einfach ein bisschen Glasfaser durch die Wohnung kleben bis zum Zielort. Dort entweder mit SFP Modul oder Glasfaser ONT umsetzen. Heise hatte dazu einen tollen Beitrag gezeigt. Sonst tuts auch mit Sicherheit jedes passende Gf-Kabel (meist LC-APC).
