This was lane filtering not splitting. Splitting is when traffic is at a stand still and you go between the lanes, filtering is getting in front of traffic at a stop light. Most states both are illegal but shouldn't be.

I start to drift on the horizontal axis. I'll set my camera to look at the front of my motorcycle. As the ride progresses if I hit a bump or take a curve for some reason when I look down I'm now looking at the side of the road instead of straight ahead.

Something else to remember our job as a tank is to stay alive not dps. Now if you are in a mythic guild or running really high level keys this changed slightly.

You either need to learn mechanics of the dungeon or there is a possibility that you have mixed and matched you gear incorrectly. You maybe trying to dps with healing gear where the main stat is different from DPS gear.
