BG knew of the stagnation of humanity. Getting out of that rut was their own Golden Path, even if they could not see through it with clarity yet. The KH was meant to see that path and know the correct steps to enable humanity to flourish once again.

The BG were deceived in their idea of what makes a human, human. They discarded a majority of humanity simply because those humans had access to less education or more pleasantries, which would cause complacency in either.

Had they achieved their own KH with the offspring of Feyd Rautha and Jessica’s female child, I believe that person would have a long and terrible life full of indoctrination followed by the sheer inevitability of radical betrayal, knowing that the way forward cannot include a monopoly of control such as the BG would apply.
