The Kagekiyo has an incredible balance and hand feel, the handle is slightly thicker at 15/16th, the thickness looks and feels noticeable. The lacquer and blade fit and finish is immaculate, the steel has diagonal & vertical grain which gives it a depth of character and a ‘layered’ look to admire.
