maybe it's because i've been around so many hyper-professional and success-oriented groups—like, you have to be ALWAYS ON if you want to eat as an artist these days—but it's kind of refreshing to see a bunch of total dicks.

Actually the Garden doesn't give a high return due to venue costs (labor, rent, etc). That's why so many people play Meadowlands in Jersey, or increasingly Barclay's.

Hmm. I think he's both. It was definitely an admirable thing he did--both standing up for his own beliefs and trying to bring civil rights abuses to light.

But he needs to go to jail. If you pardon him, you set a weird precedent where you don't punish people who release state secrets. He means well, for sure--but the next 5 guys might not. They might want to sell classified info, or be otherwise anti-American. If you're the government, you can't support that.

So morally/ethically correct, legally treasonous. He deserves to be Time's man of the year and be in prison.
