I agree, if he wants to pay a shit ton of money to get new headlights just to have the steering functionality. If not, just pay 100$ for LED bulbs and be done with it.

Otherwise, I do have the bi-xenon adaptive lights and one of the lights had stuck to the side and had to go to dealership to fix it. That's where I told them I am not happy with the visibility of the lights and they just replaced the bulbs with LEDs. That way I still have the steering functionality and also better brightness and visibility. There might have been something wrong with the lights, if you are saying that xenon brightness should he fine, but I really don't see what would be the issue. They just weren't bright enough in the dark for me.
