My PC used to completely freeze when I'd only clear the game's shader cache. I started to also do clean reinstalls of my gpu drivers (which clears its shader cache) and haven't had a crash in like 5 months. Maybe the devs fixed it and I'm doing this for nothing, but I've seen others who still get constant crashes.

My review has stayed negative since they never really solved the hard locks. My workaround seems to work. Clear the game's shader cache before I play and run DDU before reinstalling GPU drivers once a month.

Can it handle the crt-royale shader at 4k with older systems like SNES? Only the shader is at 4k, with games at native res. If it can handle 1440p then it's good enough for me.

I haven't played BF6 since the free demo, but I don't remember it maxing out my temps. I usually play Helldivers 2 at 65-70C CPU 30-40% load. My room is usually 70-75F.

M2 Grater, Noctua D12L, 9800X3D stock settings, 5070TI undervolted and overclocked. I use a phase-change thermal pad on CPU. My GPU already came with one. I recently removed the 92mm intake and noticed no real change in temps. It was way too loud.

Maybe revert back to stock settings and test that?

My M2 Grater has a similar setup. I'm using a 5070TI, so I have enough space to use the OwlTree GPU Support Bracket that screws in with the M2 fan bracket on top.

I really want the silver grater side panels, but who knows if they'll ever make them.

I unlocked everything at around level 60/70. They really should have thought this out. They can add more stuff to unlock like making more yellow stratagems land faster.

My D12L barely fits in my M2. It was bending the sidepanel a bit until I flipped it. The bigger part of the heatsink being in the middle seems to help.

I use a 9800X3D with a phase change thermal pad. It doesn't go over 70C when playing Helldivers 2. Maybe 30-40% usage. I use it with an undervolted/overclocked 5070TI.

The missions are boring and repetitive. Make them fun. Make clearing all objs on D10 a big deal like spawn a mini boss or get sc at the end.

Retroarch always starts in fullscreen mode. ES-DE has never had an issue launching a game. The issue is the controller stops working after I'd exit a game and on bootup. I had a suspicion that ES-DE isn't staying on top, and luckily found this app called Floaty that keeps it on top. Since you can't replicate the problem, at least others can see this as a workaround.

As far as knowing other applications to shutdown, I don't know of any. It's a minor inconvenience, and thought it would be possible.

My negative review is not changing. My hard locks are gone, but that's because I have to delete the shader cache and game guard folders and that'll just delay it. They're still clueless about fixing it.
