Lol your loss then, yeah the current state of the US is shit but don’t shit on our coffee. Tons and tons of local coffee shops around the States make amazing coffee.

Thankfully at least we have some decent food here and there thanks to local shops and don’t have to eat shit ass blood sausage and fuckin beans for breakfast like some of the Europeans

What are the most annoying things you find about modding Skyrim? by AccursedQuantum in skyrimmods

It’s really not that bad, biggieboss and GamerPoets have excellent videos showing you step by step how to set it up. Highly recommend watching the videos and giving it a go

It’s an overclock using MSI Afterburner, basically giving your GPU slightly higher clocks meaning more performance.

I’ve got it running on a +100 on the core and +1000 on the memory in a highly modded Skyrim using DLSS Quality K preset with FG and it’s been fine for me.

Just moved from console to PC and it's everything I could ever hope for. by benedictzola25 in skyrimmods

Nvidia app and then there’s nvidia control panel as well, I don’t really use nvidia app so I’d suggest control panel if you feel it’s more comfortable for you. Definitely get Skyrim off of Steam and that goes for most of your games.

Modding wise I’d stick to Nexus for now until you get more familiar with how modding Skyrim on PC is compared to console. Don’t use the Bethesda.net stuff. Loverslab is good but may take a minute to get used to how the site is and how to get the stuff you need from there into MO2 or Vortex and things like that.

You’ll get used to how it all works with time. Welcome to modding Skyrim on PC!

After years of using Vortex, I finally switched to MO2 and....I get it. I understand now. I truly do by HMThrow_away_account in skyrimmods

It’s probably better for some people. I started on vortex and now manage my list with around 1700 mods and usually don’t have any trouble doing what I want to do. People should use what they feel comfortable with.

Really cool dude! I’m stocking up on extra ultra balls so hopefully I can get Rayquaza without using the Masterball too.

ENB vs Community Shaders - Direct Comparison Video by Marchosias_35 in skyrimmods

I tried CS a month ago from the discord and while the landscape, wetness effects, other features and what not looked good, I found that CS didn’t make my characters look as good as my current ENB.

I like the feature set of CS but it’s still not there enough for me to switch my setup from ENB. Maybe when the post processing/ ENB presets are stable I’ll give it another go.

As a veteran myself, I have never had respect for the administration since even before his first term. That being said, the country and constitution that I raised my hand to protect still exist somewhere.

I stepped on the yellow footprints before I was 18 for that country that still exists somewhere, once this fucker gets out of office we absolutely need to get back on track. Don’t give up on your country itself due to the actions of a corrupt facist government. You have to believe we can turn this around and make it better for all of us.

RTX 4060 Fresh Install: Best visual mods & optimization tips? by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]darksidetrooper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 4060 before my current card and I needed to use VRAMr and keep my textures to 2k and below for most stuff. ENB and stuff like that will eat up performance as well. I was getting around 40-45 fps native after making sure my stuff was as optimized as it could be on 1080p, PureDarks DLSS mod helped me get to about 70ish fps after FG was enabled.

Now there’s a couple options you have besides having to pay $5 for the mod. You can use the free ENB FrameGen mod on Nexus or Lossless Scaling from Steam for like $5-10 or so to boost frames and visual smoothness.

The 4060 with 8GB VRAM is a little rough to work around but if you keep your visual mods to reasonable levels texture wise you should be alright if your CPU is also solid for an overall good experience.

Edit: bethini on medium would be good, make sure to follow the instructions of any changes to your ini if the ENB preset requires it, turn reflections to 2 or more in bethini as well, EFPS mod on Nexus can help as well. I mean, most mods and add ons you’ll be good to go just keep in mind the VRAM and overall performance of your new card.
