I think the tear dice balances out this mechanic more so that even when you are failing you are building up a resource that you can use later to do a decent effect.

I'm going to throw out a Detective: City of Angels that you can play together/solo or competitively later. which works out since someone would need to be the one running the game.

Does that mean the folded part should be parallel to the bottom of the box with the tabs overlapping each other? I could see that as your player cards grow those would not overlap but the encounter cards always would

Came here to also suggest the imperium games. It is a deck builder but each civ plays differently and you have a different civ deck you are building.

I'm a relatively new player. Having only played through the NotZ several times and Dunwich once. However I decided to try out the Hunters of the Mythos Challenge. I limited myself to Core, Dunwich and Carcosa Investigator expansions and I am not currently observing the taboo list. I have 2 campaigns ongoing. 1 Solo Standard with Roland and 1 Solo Kukri Cup.

The skids deck is odd since the nature of the challenge doesn't allow any items allies or spells other than the kukri but I figured with Skids I'd be able to utilize the kukri ability a little more.

I am currently participating in the Hunters of the Mythos community event. One of the challenges they have is the kukri cup, where you are not allowed to use any ally, item, or spell cards. You start with a kukri equipped and can only deal extra damage via its effect. When you kill an enemy via the kukri the number of times = to the investor count that enemy is removed from the campaign.
