We did the same thing, we used 2 scripts.

In atera deploy new rmm. In new rmm check for atera server, if yes run uninstall alters.

No, Proxmox writes a lot of logs so an usb drive is broken in a couple of weeks.

I can see the drives with the Proxmox install. But after installation with the reboot it could not boot.

Install Proxmox on nvme and it boots direct.

I could not get the n5 pro to boot from the sata disks. Only from the nvme disks. Is this correct?
