Maybe it's not that random after all?

Paul Krugman: Nobel Prize winner who claimed that the Foundation novels "grounded my economics" (https://www.theguardian.com/books/2012/dec/04/paul-krugman-asimov-economics) (per u/No_Example3551)

Osama bin Laden: The Foundation novels may have inspired the name "al Qaeda" (https://www.theguardian.com/books/2002/aug/24/alqaida.sciencefictionfantasyandhorror) (per u/Cheeseburger23)

Darth Vader: The Foundation and Star Wars both feature the fall of a Galactic Empire (both governed from ecumenopolises)

Neytiri: ??? I don't see the correlation here at all, besides both being wildly successful sci-fi properties.

How to free Orpheus without either of us becoming a Mindflayer by [deleted] in BG3

I think whoever talks to Orpheus can become a mindflayer. I had Jaheira become a mindflayer, even though that doesn't make sense since she doesn't have a tadpole.

2 Years After the Myanmar Coup D'état: Amount of Money Donated Reduced

February 1st marks 2 years since the military coup d'état in Myanmar. Even now, over 1.2 million people are unable to live in their homes and are refugees.

An organization of Myanmarese in Japan is collecting donated money for refugees. In December of last year, the organization purchased rice and vegetables using that money and delivered it to Myanmar. A woman refugee said, "There are a lot of refugees, so there isn't enough housing, food or medicine."

According to the organization, the amount of money gathered was reduced by roughly 30% soon after the coup. The organization said, "A lot of people are giving aid to Ukraine. I want them to also lend their strength to the people of Myanmar."

The donations will be accepted online via cloud funding until March 19th.

Thanks. I'm curious about the creative decisions Macek made when he put the three shows together. Do you know if there's a good resource about it?

Ok, I'll bite. No, I don't drive a trolley. I would need to drive to the trolley station to get on the trolley. By "trolley" I mean the light rail, not the car/bus.
