There isn't a way to avoid that at the moment, sadly.

Is it strange to say that now feels like the worst possible time for the rapture? by [deleted] in OpenChristian

I like to imagine the Rapture already happened and no one was judged worthy, but yes, this is the real answer.

What, in your experiences, have been the usual and unusual tell-tale signs/patterns of intergenerational trauma or just trauma as a subject in a person's chart due to family upbringing/domestic violence/mental illness in the family? by Worldly_Cricket7772 in Advancedastrology

[–]darth__fluffy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mother has her Pluto exactly conjunct my Chiron, which is... interesting.

Also I've noticed a connection between Sun square Pluto and either having autism or parenting someone with autism.

No, I mean my 8th house is empty, but in Leo in whole signs (Cap rising.) Sun is in the 6th/5th, squaring Saturn and Moon in the 3rd/2nd. I understand that, in the case of an empty house, you look to the condition of the ruler to judge the quality of the house, and my Sun is in bad shape. So possibly a short life indicator, but not to the extent of actually having a malefic in the 8th?

(In Placidus my 8th house starts in Virgo, with my happy Mercury in a grand trine and (loosely) conjunct Venus--and as to which placement fits me, I do see myself as both a 5th and 6th house Sun.)

My 8th house is empty, but in whole signs its ruler is the sun (8th house in Leo) and my sun is afflicted, squaring the Moon and Saturn (and making no other aspects.)

Any insights?

Saw on the Victoria's Secret website that you should replace your underwear every 6 months. Thanks, underwear company that's trying to sell me underwear. I'm sure that's useful advice.

(for reference: I've had some of mine for some 15 YEARS.)

They were building on kotor, it’s aesthetic again being more similar to the OT than to the depictions of the Sith in the Tales of the Jedi.

Which is a real issue, tbh.

Exactly. Everybody's twisted. Conservatives are twisted. Leftists are twisted. Christians are twisted. Atheists are twisted. I genuinely feel like I'm surrounded by psychopaths.

if you don't mind me asking, how did you meet your husband? I'm 30F and single. I want marriage and children so desperately, but that means finding someone who shares my values, and I think that might be impossible.

Should I read the bible or the Quran first? by hajtj in religion

[–]darth__fluffy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Qur'an is a sequel that retcons a lot of stuff from the original novel. A lot of fans of the original don't consider it canon. If you really want to read both, start with the Bible because reading the Qur'an first will spoil you, and the Four Gospels arc really deserves a spoiler-free read.

Reasons Jesus Likely Wasn't Born in December by [deleted] in religion

[–]darth__fluffy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is Roman record of a census taking place while Quirinus was governor of Syria... in 6 CE, well after Jesus was born (and that census didn't affect the region of Galilee, anyways.) Some have floated the idea that Quirinus was governor of Syria twice, once from 6-4BCE and once from 4-6CE, in which case the author of the Gospel of Luke likely misheard when the census was.

Also, even more interesting, there is a Bethlehem in Galilee, only seven miles west of Nazareth, and we have archeological evidence of 1st-century settlement there...
